S&M Bikes – Factory Friday: Sharks At The Pond

June 7, 2024

Check out this week’s episode of Factory Friday from S&M Bikes!

S&M Bikes coming in hot with a fresh episode of Factory Friday for you to check out. This week we get a preview of the new jumps and amenities going in for Pondfest out in Colorado, then we get a look at the fresh paint on some frames and bars in the warehouse in California and more. Take a look!

“This week’s Factory Friday starts off with some footage from S&M/FIT’s satellite spot in CO – where Pondfest will pop off next weekend. Luke and Nate Halahan drove in from Pittsburgh two weeks early to build a big boy line for all you Pond Sharks and Moeller’s been rebuilding a 100 year old cabin he moved onsite to house the team when they show up next week.

And in a fortuitous turn of events, Chris’ signature Maddog frames are finally in stock and the first batch of Halahan signature Rambler bars went off to paint. We made sure to make some moving pictures of everybody’s favorite sticker sensei Rita for the fans and then saw Kole Voelker off in the van… he’s driving to Denver for the Pusher Shop Stop and Denver Jam with Kareem, Hoder, Aryei and Coltin.

Make sure you move quick if you’re after matching bars and forks for your Maddogs! If they are not on the site when you hit the links – they will be soon!” – S&M Bikes

Wethepeople – 22″ Chaos Machine Frame Promo

June 7, 2024

Check out the new 22″ Chaos Machine frame from Wethepeople!

Here’s some news for the 22″ bike lovers out there. Wethepeople have released a 22″ version of Tyson’s signature Chaos Machine frame for you to get your hands on. Check out the short but sweet promo above, a little more info below, followed up with full details over on the Wethepeople website now.

“Bigger is better! New 22″ wheeled version of Tyson Jones-Peni’s game changing disc-brake equipped trail beast is finally here.

AVAILABLE NOW WORLDWIDE.

We worked with Aussie trail boss and BMX lifer Tyson Jones-Peni on an all-out trail and bowl roasting machine. The Wethepeople Chaos Machine Frame features long and stable geometry, combined with Wethepeople’s legendary frame-building technology making it one of the meanest and toughest rigs in the game. Tyson isn’t scared to go fast and hit the mainline with some serious speed so we equipped his signature steed with mounts for a disc brake (and a regular u-brake) making it the first frame of its kind and perfect for riders needing some upgraded stopping power. From the super long 14″+ chainstay to the unique detailing on the seat stay bridge and head tube, the Chaos Machine frame is one of the most “signature” frames we’ve ever made.

Monster Energy – Remembering Pat Casey

June 6, 2024

It has been one year since Pat Casey’s passing…

“Once in a lifetime we get to experience a phenomenon – something so profound in it’s actions and so deeply rooted in who we aspire to be.

Pat Casey was a phenomenon and a legacy in this beautiful home we call BMX.

It’s been one year since we lost one of the most progressive BMX riders in the world. A year since the Casey family lost their son, brother, husband, and father. There aren’t words to describe the impact that Pat had and will continue to have for years and years to come. Pat’s skill on a bike, the career he had, the contests he won, and the family he had was not by chance. He drilled his dreams into reality with focus, determination, confidence, and somehow, a levity that always put a smile on his face.

Truly one of the best, on and off a bike. We miss you, Pat.” – Monster Energy

“Monster asked me to put together an instagram video to mark a year since the passing of Pat Casey. I had no real direction, so I began digging for the best footage of Pat. Stuff I had filmed. Stuff from Dreamyard edits. Past events. Random clips.
Needless to say, the Instagram video quickly turned into a longer form video as I went down a path rediscovering all the wild shit Pat had done over the years. All he accomplished and all he had built with his blood, sweat, and determination.
As I logged clips, it was fun (and emotional) to remember how Pat carried himself…a mix of clarity and levity. Knowing what he wanted, but also down for the journey. In the end, I felt lucky to travel all over the world with Pat and bare witness to see him get up from some outright brutal falls before the inevitable triumph. But more than anything, I realized how easy it was to find footage of him smiling.
It’s truly hard to not to miss his presence this past year…and then I put myself in the Casey family’s position. Truly a loss of a giant on all front. Pat Casey forever and ever…

Declan Murray – A Bone Deth Special Presentation

June 6, 2024

Declan Murray for Bone Deth!

Whenever we see Declan Murray‘s name pop up, we know we’re going to see something unique. Here’s his latest for Bone Deth that definitely does not disappoint. We’re pretty sure this is the first time we’ve seen somebody ride without bars…Either way, you won’t want to pass this up, so get on that play button.

“The words “creative” and “original” can get thrown around pretty loosely, but if the Oxford Dictionary made a BMX version of their famous book, Bone Deth’s Declan Murray would be under both of those definitions. We guarantee you’ve not seen anything like this before… who needs bars anyway?!
