Kanode Knows – Tony Malouf

Bobby Kanode coming through with a fresh Kanode Knows video where he gets on a call with Tony Malouf for a quick Q&A style interview with questions submitted on Instagram. This is a pretty short video considering the conversation they have covering filming fisheye versus long lens, a story about Ricky Bates and a couple other things. This is short but pretty sweet. Just curious what Tony has been up to lately since we haven’t seen him a lot since leaving Fit.

“Tony Malouf is a filmmaker, BMX rider, and good ass friend of mine. We talk in this for 25 minutes and its glitchy and fun. Don’t forget to smash that like and subscribe button for no reason!” – Bobby Kanode

This DVD was filmed completely at night, and it definitely made for a unique video, and a unique section from Nick. Take a look!

“Nick Bonnell’s section from our full length video Lightworks. Filmed entirely at night in Phoenix, AZ.
Nick is insane. Enjoy

Kanode Knows – Josh Betley

It has been a little while since we’ve seen Josh Betley‘s name pop up! Here’s a new episode of Kanode Knows that Bobby Kandoe dropped where he sat down with Josh to talk about how he got into BMX all the way through filming and his Pro career to what he has going on these days. This is just shy of an hour and a half conversation, and there’s a ton of interesting stories and more that come up through this. Hit play and take it all in!

“Josh Betley is kind of a newish-mid-school bmx legend in my eyes. He had a pretty big impact on my BMX life, and I think it is so damn cool I get to call him my friend. We talk about what went into filming for those classic VitalBMX web videos, where they took him, his sponsorships, travels, jobs, and much more. ” – Bobby Kandoe

Kanode Knows – Ryan Chadwick

If you’re a fan of podcasts or video interviews in general, you’ll be real stoked on this one. Bobby Kanode sat down with filmer and all around good dude Ryan Chadwick to talk about a bunch of things like his X Games Real BMX 2019 video he filmed with Simone Barraco, making the decision to try out working outside of BMX and stepping down from his roles as TM and filmer for The Shadow Conspiracy, making the move back into BMX as a freelance filmer and much, much more. This is a real good listen, especially if you’re into filming or the industry side of BMX as a whole. Hit play and take it all in!

“Ryan Chadwick is a freelance videographer from Tempe, AZ. He’s won NORA Cup for the Shadow ONE video, an X-Games Silver medal with Simone Barraco in the 2019 REAL BMX Video contest, and he’s produced several full length BMX videos, including: I Got Work, I Got Work Strikes Back, and Shadow’s epic video What Could Go Wrong. We sit down in his beautiful ass house and talk about stuff. Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoy!

Leave a comment if you read that whole thing.” – Bobby Kanode

Troy Blair “Lightworks” Section

Bobby Kanode uploaded Troy Blair‘s section from the “Lightworks” video online for your viewing pleasure. Troy’s one of those riders that you can always count on to deliver something awesome and this part is a good reminder of that. This has a good mix of tricks from grinds to big wallrides, hang fives and much, much more. This section spans 4 years worth of riding which helps give it a bit of a unique vibe just because his riding evolved and changed in that time little by little. Hit play and enjoy!

“Troy Blair in the Arizona BMX Full Length Video Lightworks.

It’s wild to think of Troy as one of the O.G’s since I still remember first filming him at ASU campus for Mediocre at Best 7 years ago like it was yesterday. He’s always been able to do almost any trick you can think of, and his choice of what to do and film has developed into his own delightful signature style. If you hear some howling in the background on everyone else’s clips in the video, it’s most likely him. He’s been with this project from the very beginning in 2014, and has watched the whole thing go from a summertime mixtape, to never happening, to actually maybe gonna happen, back to never gonna happen, and so on and so forth. Things just wouldn’t be the same without dis man.

If you like crankflips, one hand x-ups and crankflip barspins, you’re going to love this! Hit play and check out what he stacked for his part!

“Hayden Shimmell in the Arizona BMX Full Length Video Lightworks.

Hayden has such a weird stringy poppy beautiful style and worked pretty damn hard to film this section. He was one of the later additions to the roster, and he rose to the occasion. Shout out to him, and his mom for being our number 1 fan.
