The Hoonigans – Burnouts and BMX

March 28, 2017

Here’s one for you guys that ride and also love cars. Caleb Quanbeck and John Hicks took a trip over to The Hoonigans warehouse to spend some time hanging out, riding and doing some burnouts in a car that only cost $350. There isn’t a ton of riding in this, but it looks like they had a good time. Take a peek!

More FloriDeah Swamp Fest Highlights

March 27, 2017

If you haven’t heard yet, the FloriDeah Swampfest was absolute madness and that’s what made the event so good. Earlier in the day we saw a video Dan Foley put together from the Swamp Fest, but this recap video Ride BMX definitely shows how wild things got on and off the bikes.

“Trey Jones knows how to put on one hell of a jam. From the pallet ramps, the curved wall, the rail across the lake, and a bon fire the size of a house, the Flordeah Swamp Fest was absolutely everything I hoped it would be. Check the highlights…

Thank you to the whole Florida scene for the epic weekend

Shout out to Van Homan for holding the GoPro for me, too.

“The 2017 Vans Street Invitational had an Amateur class this year and all of the kids went off! Click play and be blown away” – Ride BMX

Fit Bike Co. – F-Log: Savage Rebuild

March 27, 2017

The latest F-Log from Fit Bike Co. has arrived. This time around we get a look at Ethan Corriere and Matt Nordstrom struggling to build up their new signature Savage frames followed up by a little flat ground session out behind the warehouse. This might make those of you who are good at building up a bike squirm a bit. If you can make it past that, there’s a bunch of real solid riding clips to take in!

“As most of you have already noticed Matt, Ethan and Justin have fresh colors beneath them. Like Matt mentioned in his “Fit Caught Up” all three of them have signature color ways in the works and today you get to see Matt and Ethan’s first reaction along with some humorous antics during the build up. Keep an eye out for the official release including an edit featuring the three of them very soon!

Sunday Bikes – Aaron Ross “Grow Up” Section

March 27, 2017

Sunday Bikes have just released another section from their “Grow Up” DVD online for your viewing pleasure! This time around they have Aaron Ross‘ section that’s packed full of some insane grinds, freecoaster action, a HUGE barspin and so much more. This is an absolute banger of a section, plus that song choice is definitely on point!

Did you catch the other sections from “Grow Up” that are online?

Sunday Bikes – “Grow Up” Intro

“Aaron Ross has been steady killing it as a top pro BMXer for more than a decade. That’s an impressive feat for any rider, but damn near unthinkable for someone who works as hard as Aaron. Check out his domination of the Grow Up crash trailer or his substantial contribution to the wrecks section in the Grow Up bonus, or just take my word for it – Aaron gives it his all. The physical and emotional anguish he endures for some of these clips is nothing short of breathtaking. But Aaron won’t be stopped, and he’s always willing to push himself to the limit to get done what he knows he can get done.

A great example: the barspin in Mexico, pictured above. It has to be one of the most impressive bike riding feats I’ve witnessed in 20-odd years of BMX. The barspin was wild in and of itself, but the conditions with which Aaron had to contend should have made it impossible. By the time he’d hopped the ledge a few times and was ready to throw the bars, there had to have been 100 people in that little square, most watching intently and filming with their phones while others carelessly cut him off on approach. Everybody spoke Spanish, and the language barrier meant Jake was having little luck playing crossing guard. The crowd booed when Aaron would take a run up. Imagine the pressure! Aaron got it done.

Aaron works hard on a lot of other things too. Between being a pro rider simultaneously filming for two full-length video parts (don’t miss his upcoming sure-to-impress Etnies Chapters part), a prolific social media enthusiast, a husband, a business owner (follow @burrocheese), and 100 other interests and endeavors I’m not thinking of, it’s hard to know how he finds enough hours in the day. Even with all that, Aaron has been known to personally answer almost every message and question sent to him over social media. Yep, he’s a pretty great guy too.

So check out Aaron’s part, it’s sick and the product of a lot of hard work.” – Walter Pieringer

Tall Order – Secret Island Spot

March 27, 2017

Sebastian Keep just dropped a new video on the Tall Order channel for you to check out. This time around Bas and the crew loaded up and took a trip to a spot that required a bit of work to get to. They found this crazy cement dish to ride that sits on a little island. After managing to float on over to the spot with a little inflatable boat, they had a little session on it. This video is for the guys out there that like unique and crazy spots that might not be very easy to ride. This isn’t the craziest video as far as riding goes, but it’s still a good watch. Check it out!
