Product: Deco BMX – Self Titled V2 Frame

The second version of the Deco “Self Titled” frame has arrived. This frame is made from 4130 chromoly with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube height, 11.87″ bottom bracket height, 8″ standover height and a 13.5″ (13″ slammed) chainstay length. The Self Titled V2 frame features gussets on the top and down tubes, a brazed on Deco logo on the top tube, integrated seat post clamp, Mid bottom bracket, grind plates on the chainstays, integrated chain tensioners through the dropouts and removable brake mounts.

The Self Titled V2 frame comes in ED black and raw with top tube sizes of 20″, 20.5″, 21″ and 21.50″, a weight of 5 lbs. (20.5″) and a price tag of $299.99. This frame is available through BMX shops, mail-orders and direct from the Deco web store now!

Product: Sunday Bikes – 2017 Aaron Ross Forecaster Complete

Here’s another look at what Sunday Bikes have released for their 2017 Complete Bikes range! This time around we’re going to take a look at the Aaron Ross signature Forecaster complete. The frame features a 20.5″ top tube length, 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.5″ bottom bracket height, 8.75″ standover height and 13.25″ – 13.75″ chainstay length. You can find a chromoly down tube and dropouts, a gusset on the down tube and removable brake mounts. The bars have a 9″ rise, 28.5″ width, 12-degrees of backsweep and 4-degrees of upsweep and the Forsecaster fork has chromoly dropouts. The rest of the 2017 Aaron Ross Forecaster complete is decked out with Sunday Bikes and Odyssey parts.

Vans BMX Street Invitational Highlights

Yesterday things went off for the Vans BMX Street Invitational contest out in California. They invited some of the best street riders in the world to come out and throw down! Above is a look at some of the wild riding that went down throughout the day! Broc Raiford ended up taking the win and it’s pretty clear to see why! Hit play and take it all in!

BMX Rope Swing

We’ve seen a lot of weird ways to try and learn some tricks on a BMX bike. The Rope Swing technique is one of those weird ones we have heard about and seen a few times in the past. Here’s a video from a rope swing session Scotty Cranmer, Matty Cranmer and Big Boy had the other day. Although it’s probably not a real good way to learn tricks, it does look pretty entertaining. Check it!

“Matty and Big boy had this idea to build a BMX rope swing so I stopped by my parent’s house to see exactly what they were trying to accomplish! They built this really ghetto Bike swing out of rope, a tow hook, and 2 floor mats! But when all was said and done it was actually a lot of fun! You ride back and forth like a half pipe and do tricks as if you were doing a quarter pipe air! Big Boy was having some issues getting the hang of it but he was still able to get a tail whip around! I was able to get the impossible trick ‘;The Barspin” and Matty completely destroyed it landing a double tail whip and a 540! It was really ghetto but it was really fun!” – Scotty Cranmer

Sneak Peek: Flybikes – Devon Smillie Signature Fuego Tire

Devon Smillie posted up a sneak peek look at his brand new signature Fuego tire from Flybikes. There is not much information to go along with the photo, but it looks like it’s based off the classic Ruben Alcantara signature Ruben Rampera tire (which is on the right), but with a smoother tread pattern that’s more ideal for street riding. We would imagine there might be a few other changes like the TPI to allow a lower PSI since Devon tends to run his tires on the lower air pressure side. We’ll keep you posted once we find out more details!

Update: Here’s another look at the Fuego tires. Stefan Lantschner posted this photo of his current Flybikes setup with samples of the tires that are due out toward the end of October!

Vans BMX Street Invitational – Day 2 Practice

The Vans BMX Street Invitational is going down this weekend and it’s safe to say were in for a wild contest. Above is a look at some of the riding that went down during the second day of practice. When you drop some of the best street riders in the world on a park like this, good things are going to happen. Can’t imagine what we’ll see in the actual contest. Check it!
