Curious what the day of the premiere of “What Could Go Wrong?” was like for the Shadow Conspiracy team? Well, here’s a little behind the scenes look that follows the crew from first thing in the morning on up through the premeire and after party! Looks like it was one hell of a good day to us!
“When you belong to a team that is spread all over the world, an event that brings everyone together is something you can’t miss… In New York City during the first week of August, The Shadow Conspiracy did just that; the entire crew was in attendance (Scott we missed you) for the world premiere of their newest DVD project.
I came along to be a part of that experience, and to bring you a behind the scenes look at the team, up close and personal. Starting off the day in the right way, a high speed ride through Brooklyn to The House of Vans where the video was set to premiere that night. The team caught their very first viewing of the video only hours before the hundreds of awaiting riders feasted their eyes upon the video workings of Chadwick. Vans and Shadow put on one hell of a party for everyone of all ages and the jam at the House of Vans went down without a hitch and thanks to Darryl Nau we had the after hours situation all figured out! Follow The Shadow Conspiracy through their day leading up to the premiere of ‘What Could Go Wrong?’

With the way BMX riders ride their bikes, it’s inevitable that there’s going to be a flat tire or two… or three.. four… five… (We’ve had those days before, too). Sometimes the tube isn’t a complete blow out and a tiny pin hole can be repaired. We caught a small pinch flat and figured instead of tossing in a new tube, we would do a quick how-to on patching a BMX tube instead of replacing one. As you can see from the video, we’re using the Flybikes Cobra tube, which speeds up this process even more because it has eliminated the need to actually take our wheel off. Fly Bikes just released a sneak peek look at their new 2016 Omega complete that they will be adding to their line up for this coming year. Based off the photos, it looks like we’ll be finding a bunch of Fly Bikes parts like their Alta 2 stem, the new Tractor Sprocket, Ruben tires, Devon 2 Tripod seat, Devon Grips, Manual Brakes and Piramide rims and a bunch of Trebol parts. Expect full details closer to its release in about two months.
