Ryan Chadwick – Hi-8

September 2, 2015

Seeing Hi-8 footage always brings us way back to when we first started messing around with cameras. Although the quality is rough, it’s still so good. The other reason why this video is so good is because it features Ryan Chadwick, who for the past few years has been damn busy behind the lens filming for Shadow Conspiracy’s “What Could Go Wrong?”. Although he had that going, he was still able to stack some damn good clips for this new edit from DIG. Enjoy!

“After releasing the first Hi-8 edit early Jan 2015 using my Sony TRV-608, I wanted to keep filming and start to work on a second Hi-8 edit. These edits are focused on having fun and filming my friends out riding wherever we end up that day. From the start, Chadwick was very adamant about stacking enough clips so he could have his own part. Though Chadwick was in the midst of his typical TM duties, going on Shadow trips and then to finalize/produce the What Could Go Wrong DVD, he still managed to get out there and finally get his turn shred in front of the lens. So without further ado, here’s Ryan Christopher Chadwick in all his Hi-8 glory, enjoy!” – Eric Bahlman

Well, here’s your chance to find out…

Insight: Brotherhood – Oyster RHD Guard Sprocket

September 2, 2015

A few months back we were tipped off about a brand from Russia called “Brotherhood” that was producing a few different BMX sprockets and small parts. The reason we were so interested is because of a two-piece sprocket they had developed called the Oyster which is similar to an actual oyster was hollow and has two parts that come together to make a solid piece. The other day we received a package in the mail and would you know, there was an Oyster ready for us to get a closer look at. Curious what this thing is all about and how it works? Let’s talk about it…

Accent X 90East – Justin Dickinson “Maine Joints”

September 2, 2015

James Meliota just hit us with a link to this new BMX video featuring Justin Dickinson going to work on street spots and a DIY setup over in Maine for Accent Collaboration and 90East! Justin knows all about jib spots and this is loaded with just that. Take a peek!

“A different approach to riding in New England is mandatory because of the older and beaten spots due to snow build up, salt and sand, bumps caused from frost in the ground, and many other location specific factors that change certain aspects of everyday riding. It takes a certain kind of mindset to really be able to take these imperfections and turn them around almost like an added bonus to what was already there. Here’s Justin Dickinson’s take on some of these spots along the way. Filmed primarily in Maine and New England. Edited by James Meliota.”
