Revolt BMX Shop – BMX Day Ride
There was a lot of jams that went down on BMX Day around the world. What you probably didn’t realize is that we hadn’t seen any footage from jams in Southern California, one of BMX’s biggest hot spots. Turns out that it rained that day (shocker, we know) and it put a damper on the party. Revolt BMX Shop re-scheduled theirs for July 26th to get their crew out on the streets cruising spots. Above is a video from the day for you to check out! Take a peek!
Quicky: Christian Rigal

Photo: Chris Martinez
It’s pretty rad seeing how riders are able to balance out multiple roles in BMX these days. Christian Rigal is a perfect example of that who is one hell of an amazing rider, but he’s equally as dialed on the other side of the lens as well. There’s no doubt that you’re a fan of his riding, his film work or both. With that being said, between riding and filming, Christian is constantly on the move working on projects from his section for the new United DVD “Still United” section to getting his new RED Scarlet Dragon camera dialed in. We haven’t caught up with him in a little while, so we figured now would be a perfect time to catch up with him and see what’s new! There’s some Markit news that we’re especially excited about… Check it!

The Daily Grind – Tony Cherry “Hard Times”
One of our personal favorite sections from The Daily Grind‘s “Hard Times” DVD is now online! Watch as Tony Cherry puts his crazy technical street skills to work on a ton of unique spots. Tony is one of the few guys still utilizing brakes on street and watching the way he does things makes us wish there were more guys like him! If you’re looking grinds, freecoaster action and fufanu’s galore, this is the BMX video for you! Check it!
Harsh Protective Gear – Gary Spencer
Harsh Protective Gear caught up with their connect, Gary Spencer, at his home skatepark, Rampworx, for a session! Watch as Gary drops hammer after hammer from big bangers to super technical lip tricks. This starts out with one of the biggest cave man drops we’ve seen in quite a while and then proceeds to get crazier and crazier from tailwhip combos to flips, barspins, hand plants and more! Get on that play button and check this BMX video out!

Subrosa – Park Party at Santiam Bicycle Park
The Subrosa crew rolled through Santiam Bicycle Park (and a near by curb manual pad setup) for a session with the locals as part of their Park Party world tour! Check out highlights from the team and a few of the locals in the BMX video above!
“We can’t believe this is already our 12th stop on our worldwide Park Party Tour! Santiam Bicycle in Salem, OR knows how to have fun! With barbecue and a park rented out for the day, awesome locals, and good vibes, the day was a success. Hit play and enjoy 3 minutes of shredding from Kyle Hart, Jono Hopping, Nick Bullen, and tons of locals!
Big thanks to QBMX for making this trip happen! Keep your eyes peeled for another Park Party edit coming soon from our stop at Goods in Portland, and a full Subrosa in Oregon tranny edit!

2015 Van Doren Invitational – Practice Day 2
When you have a course like the bowl for the Van Doren Invitational packed with riders like Dennis Enarson, Daniel Sandoval, Chase Hawk, Gary Young, Matt Roe, Kris Fox, Kevin Peraza, Dean Cueson, Greg Illingworth, Scotty Cranmer, Clint Reynolds, Pat Casey, Trey Jones and more, amazing things are going to go down! Check out highlights from day two of practice in the video above. If this is what we’re seeing in practice… Just imagine how insane the actual contest will be?!
“Day two of the Van Doren Invitational quickly proceeded to get even crazier than the first, the riders were more than familiar with the ramp and ready to hit the boost button! You can’t watch this contest and not be hyped, Clint Reynolds could be roasting out of the bowls deep end one moment and the next Daniel Sandoval might be laying down a flair crazy variation. The variety in riding styles is going to make for one hell of a qualifying round tomorrow!” – Ride BMX
Patrick Kelly – Have Fun, Ride Bikes
You don’t even know how stoked we get when Patrick Kelly drops us a link to a new video that he has put out! Today we were given this gift of front brake magic from some of the sessions that Patrick has been getting in lately. Check out a ton of creative lip tricks that he’s cooked up with the help of those front brakes and freecoaster making for one hell of a good watch. There’s also a little cameo from Cody Clark and Dave White in this that is rad, too. All in all… This is a BMX video you gotta check out!
“BMX makes for some of the highest highs and lowest lows. The same thing that give you an excuse to travel, make new friends, and take satisfaction in progression also invokes bouts of rage that make you question why you ride in the first place. At the end of the day, the best message is to just have fun and ride bikes.
