BMX and Parkour – Ben Bagger In Portugal FT Cris Santos

We have seen some interesting combinations with BMX riders mixing with different sports in the past and here’s one we were bound to see at some point. During a recent trip to Portugal, our friend Benedikt Bagger met Cris Santos, a Parkour wizard, and they ended up filming a few clips from a skatepark in Lourinha. It sounds kind of weird, but there’s some real solid riding and some of the stuff Cris does is actually pretty wild. Take a look!

“When Cristóvão Santos arrived at the skatepark in Lourinha, Portugal I honestly thought he’s a real bad boy but when we started talking it was clear that he’s one of the nice persons to be around. He immediately asked if he could help me film something because I was messing around with my tripod, trying to get a proper bank whip to 180 out. So I had the idea we could do a little feature together so I filmed a couple of clips of him, too. We actually wanted to get a few street clips of us both as well but because I was busy with learning to surf we didn’t get those. I hope you enjoy these 2 minutes of basically Portugal skatepark clips.” – Benedikt Bagger

Harry Main on Custom Riders Pro Team

Here’s a bit of news we meant to post yesterday but completely blanked on! Harry Main recently announced that he had parted ways with Germany’s Kunstform with news that he had a new opportunity in the works. Yesterday, he announced that he had joined the Custom Riders Pro team!To celebrate, Custom Riders put together a custom BMX bike decked out just like Harry’s that you can get a closer look at and even buy RIGHT HERE! Expect good things to come from this new partnership.

Source BMX Shop and Skatepark in the Victorian Baths?

Our friend, Mark Sutton, over at Bike Biz tipped us off on some interesting news from our friends over at Source BMX over in Hastings, England! It looks like they’re working on making the move to a new historic location that will be revamped into their new store front and a skatepark! You can learn more all about it right here. Sneak Peek: GT Bicycles – Pool Tire

Here’s another sneak peek GT Bicycles‘ Brand Manager, Ben Ward, dropped on something he is working on! It looks like their Pool tire will be getting some color in the near future including a “sweet” one we haven’t seen from other brands yet! Above is a photo of the Pool tire in red Clay, Chocolate brown and Earl grey! No word on the set release, but if Ben is sharing the photo it has to be getting close!

New tire colors and 4-Piece Bars? I can only imagine what else Ben and GT Bicycles are working on…
