Mongoose caught up with Tom Isted to follow him in a day of his life! Check it out as he cooks up some breakfast, cruises some mountain bikes and then completely destroys the Mount Hawke skatepark! This is one BMX video that will keep you interested the whole way through.
“For the making of this edit the plan was to meet Tom early to document a full day of riding and good times. We met at Tom’s place just after 9am where Tom began his day with a good helping of pancakes and bacon!
We made our way to some of the South West’s Finest MTB trails soon after breakfast for a few runs, and after a bit of maintenance the jumps ran sweet despite the hard frost the evening before. After finishing up at the MTB trails we headed to Mount Hawke just over an hour’s drive away, by the time we got to the skatepark it was early evening and the guys there had kindly offered to stay open late for us. By the end of that evening session we were done, and this edit is the result of that one-day – A Day With Tom Isted.

While cruising the new United Bike Co. website, we spotted a few new products. One of those items being their Supreme stem. This stem is forged and machined from 6061 aluminum with a 52mm reach and 31.8mm rise. It features an embossed United logo on the face plate and a recessed top for a flush compression cap. Since this stem is forged instead of machined, the price is real affordable! The Supreme stem weighs in at 10.6 oz. (302 grams) with color options of black, black to silver fade, copper and Woodgrain.
This stem is available through all shops and mail-orders that carry United or direct from the United Webstore as well.
