Haha, Tim Knoll getting himself in the record books by setting the world record for the longest bike limbo over in China! I’m not sure what the hell is going on after he pulls that off, but it looks to be a pretty extravagant event to set the record!

Product: Odyssey – Nest Travel Bag

If I got a dollar for the number of times people have asked what the best way to get their bike on a flight without getting hassled by the airport staff, I’d probably be able to hop a flight to Australia. There are only a few BMX specific bags that riders have for an options, the Nest bag and then the other is the popular DK Golf Bag. Odyssey decided they wanted to make something a little more up to their specs, and that lead to the Nest bag to make traveling even easier. The exterior of the bag is kept simple with minimal details to help avoid attention with bike specific handle locations along with re-inforced and riveted handles and heavy duty wheels to keep things rolling smooth when you’re running late for a flight. Inside you can find two compartments with a divider that allows you to keep your bike separate from other things like clothes, also giving you a chance to dodge a quick bag check. There are multiple tie downs and an interior tool pouch to keep everything in place and organized without getting everything all greasy.
The Nest bag is available through all shops and mail-orders that carry Odyssey worldwide now for around $139.99 in black only.
Another great option is the DK Bicycles Golf Flight Bag.
If you’re working on a tight budget, you may want to check out some of the actual golf bags that are available. They’re less expensive, but we should warn you that most aren’t built as sturdy as the Odyssey Nest Travel Bag or the DK Golf Flight Bag. But here’s a few suggestions…

Product: Colony – Clone Freecoaster Hub

There’s no doubt that the freecoaster world has blown up huge these past few years and a number of brands have offered their own take on this popular hub working with the proven KHE internals. Colony introduced their Clone freecoaster a little while back now that features a CNC machined alumninum hub shell that was designed with a slimmer design to help reduce weight and a laser etched logo. As we said before, inside you can find a 14mm hollow chromoly axle and the popular KHE internals that a number of other hubs also use because, simply put, it gets the job done. The driver has an angular contact bearing for additional load support and they have included 3 slack washers to all you to get your hub set just the way you like it. The Clone freecoaster is available in colors of Rainbow and black, 36-hole only, right or left side drive with a 9-tooth driver and a weight of 1.26 lbs. (20.28 oz. / 575 grams).
