Just when you think the Dan’s Comp pro team couldn’t get any more stacked… They go and add Colin Varanyak to the line up! This is a well deserved opportunity for Colin since he’s been on fire for quite some time now! Get the official word below.

“We are super stoked to announce that Colin Varanyak has been added to the Dan’s Comp pro team for 2015. Colin has been steadily building momentum and exposure in the BMX world with his incredible section in the Fiend “Fiending” video (below) from last year and making his mark on the streets and even in select contests (Dew Tour, Vital Game of Bike, Rebel Jam, Texas Toast, for example). Colin’s a New Jersey guy but is currently residing in Sunny California, representing Fiend, Animal, Etnies, Deadline and now Dan’s Comp. Here’s a few words from the man himself.
“I’ve been getting Dan’s Comp catalogs ever since I was a kid, so it’s pretty surreal to be riding for them. Not to mention they probably have the heaviest team in BMX, so to be added to the list is a huge honor. Stoked to represent!”

How To Fix A Flat Tire Without Tools

Ever caught a flat and didn’t have any way to get it fixed? Here’s how to fix a flat tire without tools!

We have a seen a few different ways to get out of a pinch when you catch a flat tire in the past, but this is a new one we haven’t seen before! Javi Benito Peris put together this BMX video showing you how to fix a flat tire without tools with a little trick that Daian Alexander De Medeiros used to temporarily fix the flat with a shoelace. You don’t even have to take your wheel off the bike! This seems like a quick way to get the job done if there’s no other options, which seems to happen more than you would think if you aren’t carrying tools or a spare tube. The only problem after you try this is finding a pump to get air into the tire. Either way, this is pretty interesting trick showing you how to fix a flat tire without tools that most people probably would never think of trying if they caught a flat tire in a tight spot.

One of the best parts about running this site is the opportunity to watch riders progress, develop and make things happen for themselves. Every now and then there are riders that will really stand out. By now, there’s a good chance you guys have taken notice of Wethepeople’s AM, Moritz Nussbaumer, who back in 2012 was added to their line up and has been making waves ever since. After a huge 2014 for “Mo”, there was no way we couldn’t get ahold of Moritz to ask him a bunch of questions to get to know him a little better! We would suggest you take notice because it sounds like 2015 is going to be absolute fire for this guy.

Nathan Williams Off Eclat

Well, here’s some surprising news! Nathan Williams and Eclat have parted ways! It sounds like Nathan made the decision, so maybe he has a new opportunity in the works? Only time will tell..

“It’s with an extremely heavy amount of sadness that we have to announce the exist of Nathan Williams from the Éclat family. We’ve shared some good times on the road together and although his reasons for leaving make a lot of sense we will still miss him. Below are quotes from our Team Manager and Nathan himself.

“Nathan and I have spoken on and off for a while about his decision and although there was no major rush, it was inevitable that it would come at some point. Being one of the best riders in the world often comes with certain responsibilities and juggling them can throw back problems and create an unwanted pressure. Nathan wanted to focus on the currant projects he has on the go and we are cool with that. Im glad that our friendship extends outside the boundaries of Éclat but ill still be sad to not have him to hang out with on trips in the future. All the best Mr Williams and thanks for being part of Éclat.” – Paul Robinson Eclat TM

“Unfortunately éclat and myself have parted ways. It’s a hard decision for me because I really enjoyed the trips and the whole team is so rad. I felt that I wanted to put all my focus into the projects I already have going.
