Insight: Mutant Bikes – Peguard
Some of you guys may have spotted this one on the Shadow Conspiracy Raptor Freecoaster Review we dropped a little while back and have been wondering more about just what it is. That unique “thing” spotted in that review is the Mutant Bikes Peguard that we got our hands on back in September at Interbike. This hybrid hub guard and peg combo is something we’ve been seeing pop up here and there for a few years now, but it looks like Nuno at Mutant is pretty close to finally releasing it. After running it for a while now, we decided it would be a good time to give you guys a closer look. Let’s do this!
Profile Racing Shop Tour
Man… This is sweet! I know I personally have always wanted to make it down to Florida to take a tour of Profile Racing to see how the place runs! This video they dropped gives us a tour of the building along with introduces us to a handful of people behind the scenes that make things happen on the day to day. There’s also a look at how the hubs and stems are made which is awesome, too!

The crew over at FBM are working on a new project to introduce something they haven’t done before to their line up; a city bike. They’re working on a slightly different direction to make these bikes happen and have setup a Kickstarter to fund the start up costs in making these bikes happen! Total BMX – Blacklight and Late Nights
Total BMX got crazy with their crew for the Ride UK Warehouse Project! Crank up the black lights, throw down some crazy tricks, get Mark Webb drifting in the warehouse and throw JC Pieri on the filming and editing and you end up with one dialed video! Check it!
“Working in collaboration with RIde BMX UK we created a conceptual BMX video using UV light and reflective white UV paint. It was scarily dark for the riders but they rose to the occasion.”
