With Swampfest 2023 going off down in Florida this weekend, things are definitely going to get crazy. As expected, Trey Jones and the rest of the crew came up with some absolutely ridiculous setups for everyone to enjoy. Here’s a behind the scenes look at what it went to build the place from the bowl to the castle and more! Expect to see a ton of footage coming out over the next few days from the event!

United coming through with a fresh video Bike Check taking a closer look at Mike “Rooftop” Escamilla‘s current signature Caveman setup, with a really cool background story and history behind why he designed the frame the way it is designed. “From being a stunt double in feature Hollywood films to riding vacant Hollywood pools, Mike ‘Rooftop’ Escamilla is living up his best life, and he’s doing it all on his Signature United Caveman V2 Frame.

2016 saw the first release of Rooftop’s Signature United Caveman Frame, and in 2020 we dropped the V2 in all new graphics and colours. In this video Mike gives us the run down of his personal Caveman V2 setup, from the parts he’s running to the history behind designing his frame, the inspiration for the graphics and why he wanted to have a bashguard.

Unfortunately Steve died back in 2016 when he was struck by a car walking, but we’re sure he would still be crushing it on a bike today if he was still with us!

Clint Millar Raw 2023

36 minutes of raw Clint Millar footage!

Here’s one for you if you’re looking for some front brake magic! Stewart Munro dug into his archive of Clint Millar from the past few years and put together this 36 minute raw cut loaded with dialed riding, crashes, second angles, b-roll and more from projects that they worked on. Hit play and take in all of this goodness.

“In 1996, I stumbled upon an ad for Clint Millar’s video, Prody 4 – Remember, in BMX Plus or Ride BMX. Intrigued, I purchased a copy and was blown away by the incredible riding. Little did I know that this encounter would lead to an incredible journey and friendship.

Over the years, I had the privilege of filming Clint for his subsequent Prody videos. Eventually, he asked me to produce the Colony DVD, which turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Together, we traveled around Europe for over seven weeks, explored the USA, and toured Australia. The process was a thrilling adventure, and we captured some of the most incredible footage along the way.

After completing the Colony DVD, I reached out to Clint to see if he would be interested in filming a full part for my latest DVD, COPPIN IT SWEET. He eagerly agreed, and we embarked on a two-year journey around Australia. My goal was to capture Clint performing tricks that he had never done before, and I’m proud to say that we succeeded.

In addition to this, Clint filmed his first flatland section in 25 years for my latest video, Unscripted, which was released last year. It was an honor to work with him again, and I’m eager to collaborate on future projects.

In summary, my encounter with Clint Millar in 1996 sparked an unforgettable journey that has resulted in unforgettable memories and extraordinary footage. I am excited to see what the future holds and cannot wait to work with Clint again soon.” – Stewart Munro

Birchwood Final Laps

It’s always a bummer hearing about a set of trails getting plowed, and it looks like the Birchwood spot over in the U.K is set to get demolished soon. Fortunately some of the crew were able to get the place dried out to get a few last laps in before that happened. Here’s a quick edit giving us a look at what went down. Such a bummer since this place looked awesome.

This looks like a good time! Lux BMX dropped this raw cut from the Darra Metro Jam that Jonny Mackellar and crew threw with some DIY ramps down in Australia. This looks like this was meant to be a bit smaller of a jam, but that didn’t keep the riding from getting wild. Check out what went down!
