Some of the Northern Embassy crew hopped a boat to Toronto Island for a day to see what the place had to offer. Despite the skatepark being fairly small and catching some rain, they did have a good time doing it! Take a peek at the video from the day!
“Unbeknownst to a lot of people that aren’t from Toronto, there is a small island south of the city appropriately titled Toronto Island. It is the exact opposite of the rest of the city, in that it is quiet, peaceful, full of green space, has (relatively) clean beaches, and not populated with cars. It also has a very small and modest skatepark.
We decided to take a trip over for the afternoon to see what fun we could have with it, soak up some sun, and have a BBQ. Before we got much riding in we found ourselves dodging the rain, hiding under gazebos, and sharing food with other visitors, before we ultimately got to the beach for some sunny skies during a break in the weather.
Check out this short video of our Toronto Island afternoon with riding from Chijioke Okafo, Chris Cadot, Trent Barker, and Scott Barker. Filmed and edited by Chris Cadot.”
The crew at Autum Bikes hit us with a link to their flipbook giving us all a look at their new 2014 range of products that will be available in September. They have a big range of product with flatland and street oriented options that you might just want to get a closer look at! Hit the catalog above and flip through!
The Kerk Krew down in Australia didn’t have much luck with their HD camera, so they’re going back to the VX. Here’s a bunch of footage from some of the recent sessions with the camera they weren’t too pleased with! Check it!
“goodbye to the worst camera ever.

If you are from the midwest, there’s a good chance you have heard of Frank Stewart or even had the opportunity to watch him ride. I can’t remember the exact first time I saw Frank ride in person, but I can tell you it blew my mind and he’s one of the first people I think of when I think of “front brake magic” and technical ramp riding to this day. Tonight I spotted his video part from the “Missing In Action” video on Facebook and although it has been online for a few years felt it needed to be posted. I highly advise you watch this.
