I’ve known Jeff for a long time now… I couldn’t tell you exactly how we met, but that doesn’t really matter. What I’m getting at is, over the years I’ve learned that Jeff is one of those people who truly believes in riding things until they’re properly worn out. Taking a closer look at his bike, you can see he’s a firm believer in that methodology, and thanks to BSD and Madera, his bike is always running good regardless if it’s brand new or parts he has been running for a year. We decided with him having a fairly new setup for a change, it would be a good time to take a closer look at his current ride! Let’s take a closer look at this dialed unit!

Through The Lens: Out with the Old, In with the New

January 31, 2014

Photography

Well, the time has finally come. I have been wanting to get a new camera body for years now and haven’t really been too sold on everything that has come out. Not only that but if you didn’t realize, being a professional photographer comes at a huge expense. If you are going to fully invest, prepare to spend some money. I have spent around $10,000 over the years since I first started getting my work published a decade ago and its just part of the game. Between camera bodies, lenses, strobes, light modifiers, computer equipment and more, it adds up at an almost alarming rate. But, on the bright side, if you are going to invest, hopefully you are on the track to being paid and recouping the cost of your initial investments. Also, don’t let those figures scare you away. There is much more to being a professional photographer than an expensive array of camera shit. “It’s the magician, not the wand” which simply means that it doesn’t matter how much your gear costs as long as you know what you’re doing. On that note, for this week I decided to do a little comparing between my Canon Mark II N and my new Canon 6D.

Quicky: Grant Castelluzzo

January 31, 2014

photo (1))_600x

Over the years we’ve seen a lot of Grant Castelluzzo who has been blowing minds with his technical street riding that is pretty much un-duplicateable. With the start of 2014, it seemed like everything good that Grant had been working towards fell into place. Grant was added to the pro team roster for Mutiny and shortly after named the Team Manager for the brand as well. We figured with everything he has going on with Mutiny, his constant involvement with Profile Racing and his steady flow of videos where he’s either in front of the camera or behind the lens, it would be a good time to catch up and find out what’s new! Let’s see what he had to say!
