Here’s some good news from Larry Alvarado! ODI has added long time shredder and all around good dude, Matt Closson, to their line up for 2014! Expect good things from him!

“Matt Closson made the switch back to his home turf of southern California and has been steadily cruisin’ with the ODI street crew. He has been running our grips since he was racing 8 expert in the 90’s. We enjoy riders that support us so seemed fitting to bring Matt on board for 2014 and support him. Keep your eyes peeled for his welcome video dropping soon as well as more sponsor changes with ODI in the near future” – ODI

Here’s an interesting one Markus Wilke dropped in the inbox this morning to check out from a trip a few guys from Germany took to Marocco, Africa to check out the spots, sights and enjoy what appears to be some real good weather (anything that isn’t frozen right now sounds amazing). This is pretty interesting because we really don’t see much of anything from Africa at all unless it’s South Africa. It would appear that this place has plenty of spots to ride and the trip was a real good experience. Take a peek!

Mankind just dropped this new split edit featuring two of their connects in Frankfurt, Germany through 2Four7 Shop, Kim Moreno and Kiam Hashemi. Take a peek as both of these guys put down some real solid riding at their DIY plaza spot and some of their local street spots. Well worth a watch!

If there’s one thing that I know, it’s that if there is one guy who deserves every good thing that happens to him, it is Brian Kachinsky. After what seemed like a rough patch for Brian that we will call “2013” that involved losing sponsors, having new deals fall through, moving The Bakery to a new location and then being forced to rip it all out two months later, injuries and more. It would appear that things are finally starting to look better with the start of the new year for him. It was just announced yesterday that Brian had been added to the Vans team and this news couldn’t get any better. We figured it would be a good time to get ahold of him and catch up to find out what else is new. Let’s see what he had to say!
