Review: Props – Road Fools Box Set

A few months ago, Chris Rye announced that he was in the process of putting together a collectors edition box set that would include all of the Road Fools videos that Props produced in its time along with some bonus footage and extra features that would help show its legendary history to the fullest. For those of you who have been riding BMX for years, you most likely have some good memories from the hours you spent watching the videos, getting stoked, remembering the lines and riding that has pushed BMX to new levels like myself.
A few weeks back, the box set was finally completed and recently released for riders from around the world to relive all of the miles that were racked up in its nearly 15 year history. I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a copy to check out and figured I would put together this review for you to check out.

X-Games Los Angeles – Big Air Finals

I’m not going to lie, thanks to Morgan Wade and Zack Warden, I’ve been really digging Big Air lately. This video Ride BMX dropped showing you everything that went down in finals yesterday shows you have gnarly things were getting. I’m so stoked that Morgan Wade FINALLY got well overdue gold medal as well! Absolute beast! Hit play!

Albe’s – Eastpoint Extreme Team

There are so many reasons I’m stoked on this new edit that Albe’s dropped. One would be that this is the second edit with AC/DC in it this week, two is that these guys all kill it at a bunch of parks, street spots and trails spots and three is that the vibe of this doesn’t have one of those “this is what I can do, sponsor me” vibes that a lot of edits have these days. Everything about this is awesome and I highly advise you check it out!

“Albe’s locals Jamie Chalmers, Craig Huneke and Allen Schmalz all started riding BMX at the same time many many years ago. Being from the Detroit suburb of Eastpoint they were Jokingly dubbed the “Eastpoint Extreme Team” for years. They don’t worry about comps, learning the newest tricks or much of anything for that matter. They do however have a good time riding their bikes. With that being said you’ll see they are pretty damn skilled though.“

Now this is what we call a MUST SEE! During JC Pieri’s recent trip around the world, he met up with Kenneth Tencio in Mexico City where they filmed this absolutely phenomenal new video! I highly, highly advise you hit the play button on this!
