BMX is crazy because there are guys who are so incredibly talented, yet the money isn’t there to let them fully push their talents as far as it could go. Simon O’Brien is one dude who definitely can say this applies to him. Being one of the best flatland riders in the world for the past decade has given him a lot of opportunities, but at 33 years old, he’s decided to take a different route and see where things go for himself. The Northern Embassy just dropped this awesome new edit featuring Chijioke Okafo getting down at one of his local parks in Toronto to coincide with an INTERVIEW where he talks about the rough patch of injuries he has had the past few years. Anyone who has been around BMX long enough knows that Chijioke is an absolute shredder and it’s awesome to see him finally getting back to full strength!
“Chijioke Okafo has had a few bad summers now and bad luck with some serious injuries in the last couple of years. Now he’s back in the game and healthier than ever. He met up with Chris Silva one afternoon to film this quick edit at our favourite ramshackle skatepark in one of Toronto’s west end neighbourhoods.
