Eastern – Kelly Bolton Farewell Edit

November 3, 2012

Oh wow… I did not see this one coming. It looks like Kelly Bolton is no longer riding for Eastern. Based on the statement below it sounds like he might have a new deal lined up possibly? I’m not sure. But, I am sure that this edit kicks ass. Check it!

“Today I am sad to announce that Eastern and Kelly Bolton are parting ways. We definitely shared some great adventures together and I will miss going on trips with him. He has almost as many costumes as I do. I am honored to have gotten to know Kelly through the years and even more so to be able to call him a friend. I put together this farewell video from his time here. Kelly and I picked the song out of a few he sent over, so don’t read into it too much. I am looking forward to see what Kelly has up his sleeves next.” – Leigh Ramsdell.

Paul Bentivegna Mastic Edit

November 3, 2012

Here’s a new one of Paul Bentivegna getting down at the Mastic skatepark. It’s been a little while since I’ve seen this dudes name pop up, but damn is he good. I wouldn’t mind being able to ride like this guy one bit. Plenty of tricks and style in this. Check it out for sure.

Valvo Bike Check

November 2, 2012

Colony posted up a few photos of Henrique “Valvo” Castro’s current setup. This is what I call one hell of a dialed unit. Check out more photos by clicking here.

Profile Racing – Made in America Diagram

November 2, 2012

One thing I’ve always respected about Profile Racing is that they have stuck to their guns and kept everything American made regardless of the economy or if they could have it made somewhere else for a lot cheaper. Matt went and put together this diagram showing you just how they get those dialed parts done with the help of local businesses in Florida. Pretty rad.

“This week I got with a couple of the shop guys and put together a diagram of our vendors. Profile is made up of a total of 22 full and part time employees.
When you think of how much product we produce (everything is done, initially, in-house), promotions, logistics, web management, team management, sales, etc…on top of having to physically assemble every component that goes out of here, the total number of people handling things is minimal.
Beyond what we do here, we rely on a pretty large amount of outside vendors to finish our product: Anodizing (aluminum components), black-oxiding (steel parts), painting (cranks and white components), etc…
With that in mind, the vendors listed below are all in the state of Florida (with the exception of one chromer who is out of state). Considering Profile keeps everything local (and within the US), we actually contribute to the employment of multiple companies.
” – Matt Coplon / Profile Racing
