GoPro Hero 3: Week One

October 28, 2012

There’s a few perks to being a team rider for GoPro. One of which would be getting the brand new Hero 3 before anyone else. Mike Escamilla is one of the lucky guys who got to put it to work already and he got plenty of good use out of it. Check out this video of him getting some riding time in and doing some sky diving and base jumping. This is rad!

Rob DiQuattro in Boulder, Colorado

October 28, 2012

Rob DiQuattro has been on the move lately. Check out this video of him taking care of business at a couple street spots and the cement park in Boulder. So damn good.

“Late in the summer, Columbus, Ohio’s own Rob Diquattro made plans to visit Boulder, Colorado. For two weeks, Rob filmed clips at various parks and spots in Boulder, but avoided any on-camera discussion except for a light-hearted introduction. All week long, I asked him to sit down and say a few words in front of the camera but had no luck. Regardless, he definitely put in work riding for the edit.

Last week, Rob also made the move to the Mankind BMX team. “We are very proud and happy that Rob is representing Mankind in the states, joining Jeff Klugiewicz,” said Mankind. “Rob just got his new bike set up through Greenhouse BMX and is working on a welcome edit as we speak.”

Until then, here’s Rob in Boulder, Colorado. Music: Apollo Brown “Heirloom”” – Justin Benthien / ESPN BMX

Forge and Friends

October 28, 2012

This is pretty cool. Kevin Porter gets a couple clips in there as well.

“Our main objective was to get all of our friends and family together to make and create as much as we possibly could within our space. We opened up our entire building – including the roof and our entire surrounding property – we had shoots going on, in every studio, on every floor. Our friends made music videos, there was yoga and dance going on outside, we hosted workshops and made terrariums, we played live music and we biked and skated. Our creative community really came alive!

Pure BMX Shop Edit

October 28, 2012

The Pure BMX Shop in France recently had a BBQ and jam at their shop. They put together this video from the day featuring Kévin Kalkoff, Aranud Mauler, Thomas Benedetti, Cyril Berkane, Eliott Trivero, Enzo Benedetti, le Bolton, Guigui, Matthieu Pierre, Alan Cadoux, Jason, Begs and Gogo getting down. Good tunes, good riding and good times. This is what I’m talking about.

Chicago and PA Trails

October 28, 2012

A few dudes from Chicago took a trip down to Pennsylvania for some trails goodness recently. They filmed this edit from a few different spots in Chicago and PA along with a couple stops in between for you to check out. Take a peek.

Autumn Days = Indoor Hours

October 28, 2012

The days are getting colder and there’s less and less light to work with every day. Robbie Meade and Ryan Gorman have been moving their sessions indoor already. Check out this video from one night they spent at the Boneyard recently. This one has some real quality filming and editing.
