Have you noticed that Odyssey‘s apparel line has been getting really good lately? Well there’s a reason. They brought Kaboe Kavapalu on to handle things a while back and he’s been taking care of things like a champ. Head over to the Ride BMX website check out a real good interview with him where you can find out about where he got his start, what he’s been working on so far, what’s to come and more. Definitely looking forward to seeing their cut and sew line they are working on.
Product: DIG – Issue 90

As some of you may recall, DIG announced a few weeks back that they would be making some changes to the format of the magazine along with making it available for free in shops in the U.S and U.K. Well, the first issue of the new format is OUT NOW and it’s looking awesome. They’ve got 4 collectors edition covers featuring Ruben Alcantara, Brian Foster, Van Homan and Joe Rich for this issue. You can check out all the info by clicking here.
Stefan Lantschner in California
This is awesome. All I want to know is why did it take this long to be put together!?
“This is a rather old piece… Kind of. I shot this late last year (November, 2011, I think) while Italian BMX ripper, Stefan Lantschner, was in Southern California. Unfortunately, it has literally taken me 10+ months to get around to editing this short clip, due to lots of traveling and working on other projects.
We shot this over the course of four or five days, which included some rain that hindered a few days. Nonetheless, we hit up a few of the local spots to put together something fun. I’m hoping Stefan will be visiting again in the coming months, as I’d like to make a more proper and badass edit that would include some of Stefan’s motocross skills!
Until then, hope you enjoy this short piece with my personal favorite BMX rider, and his simplistic, yet stylish way of riding.

United – Sick Note: Ashley Charles
Ashley Charles hasn’t had the best of luck with his knee the past few years, but it sounds like he’s finally making some positive progress to getting back to his old self and riding again. Real stoked on this video because it kind of gives you an inside look at the things Ashley is doing to make it so he can ride again. I’m looking forward to seeing more of Ashley here in the near future.
Oh, and don’t forget to check out the United website to check out how dialed his new bike is. Damn that thing looks good.
Terrible One – South Korea Slide Show
Joe Rich put together this awesome slideshow from the trip him and Joseph Frans took to South Korea recently. Check this out!
“South Korea . . . what a treat. I’m almost embarrassed to admit that I virtually knew nothing about SK before going there 2 weeks ago. Though that doesn’t make me particularly happy, I can honestly say that I love going places that I have no idea what to expect. Well, fellow T1er, Joseph Frans, and myself made the Trans-Pacific journey on the 23rd of August, only to arrive in a place that we will never forget. Always impossible to put this all into words, so I thought a nice little slide show would be a good representation of our visit. I got hurt riding vert on the 3rd day, so riding was cut short, as well as my ability to get “out and about”. But . . . we had a blast to none the less. Thank you so much to Boosung, Ross, Jin, Randolph, and David from ISAW. We will be back for Round 2 one day. Enjoy ! – joe
* The music used for the slide show, is traditional Korean music. The 3rd to last picture shows about 12 older women sitting on the ground with drums. You guessed it, they are the ones responsible for the tune. SO GOOD !” – Joe Rich
Mick Bayzand Video Bike Check
Strictly BMX put together this quick video bike check with Mick Bayzand where he talks a little bit about the changes he made on his signature 2013 Teddy frame from Colony. There’s also some rad riding clips at the end that are worth a look!
Dawid Goziek Spring Leftovers
Dart BMX put together some of the leftover clips from Dawid Goziek’s spring edit of him riding his backyard jumps in Suszec, Poland that dropped a few weeks back. There were definitely a bunch of clips that were left on the table that I’m glad they didn’t toss into the garbage can.
Double Ditch Mixtape
Mario Carrasco put together this quick edit featuring some of the Double Ditch crew hitting some spots on a recent trip they took. Take a peek at what they found. Not sure if this is just the teaser for the full mixtape or what, but I hope there’s more of this to come.
