Check out this video of Steven Mack showing you he can ride more than street. Dude definitely kills the Aptos Post Office trails near Santa Cruz in this one. So good.
Blackout X Etnies Tour Flyer
It looks like Blackout and Etnies have Geoff Slattery, Tony Hamlin, Aaron Ross, Joe Frans, Sean Sexton, Tom Dugan, Alex Magallan and Colin Varanyak spending some time on the east coast hitting up shops between August 13th and the 21st. With a crew like that, good things are bound to happen. If you are near any of these shops I highly advise you make it.
Aaron Nardi Demo Reel
If you have been around BMX long enough, you have probably seen some of Aaron’s work online or in different videos. He’s definitely one of those guys who started out in BMX and worked his way to where he is today. Above is his demo reel featuring footage from different projects he has worked on the past year. Definitely stoked on this. I never thought I’d see an edit with Manny Pacquiao and Kevin Porter in it…. Check it!
“The past year or so of my work/life in about 4mins. This reel includes work for ESPN, Jim Beam, Effen Vodka, Pucker Vodka, Hennessy, Nexon, EVS Sports, Quintin, Crooks & Castles, The Beer Market, No Days Off, and a few random clients. I’m grateful to spend my time working with good friends on projects I like. Thanks to all the good collaborations with Glenn PP Milligan, Steve Burton, Huy Doan, Shannon Slack, Blake Regal, Luis Reyes, Doug Metzel.”
Product: United – Beacon V2 Frame
The second version of Corey Martinez’s signature Beacon frame from United is out now. Here’s what they had to say about the changes they’ve made to the frame this time around.
“We have made a couple of changes to Corey’s signature frame, and dubbed it the Beacon v2. What with the evolution and constant progression of Corey’s riding, parts that he puts his name to have to do the same. The Beacon v2 features a couple of changes from the original, as well as new graphics the most notable change is the removal of the built in pivotal seat post back to a more traditional seat tube. The v2 still features the same tube set, higher stand over height, elevated stays that help with grind clearance (especially luc-e grinds) and tiny dropouts that still work with pegs and a United hubguard when run slammed. Cosmetic touches such as engraved lines in headtube & bb, name stamped gussets finish the frame off. Shine like a Beacon.”
