The X Games 2021 BMX Park contest went down in the Dream Yard last night, and as expected we got an awesome contest since it went down on a ramp built for BMX versus the big bowl contests we’ve seen the past few years in the stadiums. Julian Molina has been on it the past few years, and he’s been getting some amazing, well deserved, support the past two or so years. Vans have added Julian to their Pro team, and it’s easy to see why! Hit play to watch the short but sweet video loaded with great riding to bring the news. The BMX Dirt Best Trick contest went down at X Games 2021 in the Dream Yard, and you already know there was a bunch of wild tricks thrown down. In the end, Andy Buckworth ended up taking the win! Check out the full jam above, or check out how Andy won below!
X Games 2021 kicked off today, and they’ve changed things up from their traditional massive stadium event to do smaller events at actual spots! They chose Pat Casey‘s back yard, the Dream Yard to host the BMX park and BMX dirt contests! This has to be one of the best dirt courses the X Games have had in years. A bunch of jumps, hips, berms, and more that makes it so that you actually have to ride dirt to be able to compete.
Above is a full replay from the contest giving you a look at all of the wild riding that went down. In the end, Pat ended up with the win despite everyone bringing the heat! We imagine we’ll be seeing plenty more of Pat this week since he’s competing in 5 different contests!
