Mellon – Tricktionary Friday – Icepick Grinds

June 2, 2012

This week Rok gives you the low down on how to lock in an icepick grind. Take a peek!

“We started Tricktionary to show future generations and all others who are already riding BMX a better view on the trick and the difference between regular and opposite. Tricktionary is not a How-To, but of course, that doesn’t mean that you won’t learn from it. Each week we will try to make a new clip to fill the Tricktionary pages until it is full or we won’t be able to make any other.
In this week’s edition Rok Krivec demonstrates Icepick Grind.

Hoffman – Seth Kimbrough Hartselle Park Edit

June 1, 2012

Hit the Hoffman site to check out a few photos to go with this as well! Can’t go wrong with Seth Kimbrough footage. Enjoy!

“I recently spent some time with Seth in his neck of the woods in Alabama. About a ten minute drive from Seth’s house you will find a less than perfect shape pad of asphalt that is grounds for the Hartselle skatepark. Seth has never really filmed much at the park so he really wanted to put an edit together of the place you will most likely find him riding when he’s home.
Through the years the park has had additions added and taken away. Today you will find a quarter, a pyramid that could suit King Tut, cinder block manual pad and some various rails surrounding the outer perimeter. One of the obstacles had me really excited to ride. Seth installed a rail that he and Corey Martinez had when they first started riding, built by Corey’s dad. That rail alone can be held responsible that planted the seed for so much BMX progression between the two of them. I also have to mention the locals. I have never been to a place with such a positive vibe given the very little resources they had to ride. We even sneaked in a few clips of David Cortez who is at the park everyday with a smile on his face.
