Red Bull dropped a fresh video with Kye Forte talking a little more about the progress of the course for the Empire of Dirt contest going down this weekend. It looks like this will be an amazing setup. I want to work with that dirt, looks real good.

How To Crank Arm Grind with Hoang Tran
“When not doing insane moves like crank arm grinds to turndowns on uprails at Chad Kerley’s vitaminwater® Invitational, Subrosa pro Hoang Tran was kind enough to sit down to show the RideBMX.com audience how to crank arm grinds. When you’re doing proper turndowns out of crank arm grinds, you must be doing something right in the first half…sit back and see how Hoang does it.” – Ride BMX

The course looks pretty damn good to me. It has a Simple Session setup vibe to it as well which is sweet.
“3,000 pieces of paper scrapped, 800 pencils broken, 300 Espresso’s and a broken wrist have gone into the all new 2012 Pro Park Design and the end result shows it has all been worth it!
The boys have been flat out with the design and what is on paper is looking insane! This eclipses that of previous years and to say we are excited to see what goes down this year is an understatement like no other!
When designing a Professional Park Course for an event like Relentless Energy Drink NASS it is not an easy task. Factoring in preferences of skateboarding, BMX and Inline to come up with a layout and plan that can bring the most out of all athletes across the sports is something we feel we have hit the nail on this year!
There are a few new exciting additions like the huge jump box, a sweet spine and 2 huge walls of quarters on either side with a mix of curves, bends and banks which will open the door for the those BMX mad boys to let lose. For the World Cup Skate contingent we have a huge pyramid, a number of lengthy rails, various sets of stairs and snug wall rail to keep things interesting.
