Product: S&M – Race XLT Dub Fork

A while back S&M dropped a sneak peek of some forks they were working on with the enclosed drop outs. Well, after plenty of testing they finally have the final product hitting shops now. This U.S.A made 100% 4Q Baked heat-treated 4130 chromoly fork features tapered, double butted legs, a CNC machined 1 piece steerer tube (171mm steerer / 315.5mm axle to crown) and laser cut 20mm “thru hole” drop outs. Albe’s – Jamie Chalmers Spring 2012 Edit
I seriously wish Jamie would come out with edits more than once a year! Always so stoked on his riding!
“Jamie is not your normal everyday rider. His style is mixed with trails, street and ramps and he looks very natural on all of them. Much like his last edit ( Vimeo ) If you are looking for a bunch or barspins, whips or foot jams you probably won’t be into this. However if you like fast street lines, trails and smooth style you’ll dig Jamie.” – Albe’s
Eastern – Karl Poynter Japan Slide Show
Eastern recently sent Karl Poynter over to Japan to check it out for the first time. Here’s a slide show of photos he put together from the trip. Looks like he had a good time to me.
“This was my first time visiting Japan. I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I was just excited and ready to go. I came back with a lot out of this trip on a personal level and connected with so many riders and most importantly good people. I was treated so well and felt so welcomed. As always, I had my camera with me to try and document anything I encountered. I have organized a collection of photos I personally shot to help show an insight of my time in Japan. I’d like to say thanks to Eastern Bikes, Vancho Bike, and all the ones I met during my tour. It’s an experience I’ll never forget.” -Karl Poynter
