Lux BMX – Staff Sessions: Brock Olive At Bundanba Skatepark

March 25, 2021

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YThrNoMkKQE

You can always count on Brock Oive to deliver with some great riding! Here’s a new one Lux BMX uploaded from a productive session Brock got in at the Bundanba Park. It looks like Brock put the whole park to good use with a some good mix of tricks making for some great lines and combos. Check out what he threw down!

“Originally the suburb was named Bundanba, it is believed to have derived from the Aboriginal words ‘bundan’ and ‘ba’, meaning a stone axe and place of. Others know this as Brock Olives stomping ground where he honed in his skills and became the machine on a bike that he is today.
Brock headed there one Wednesday afternoon for a session!

Vans – Cauan Madona “ELO”

March 24, 2021

Vans dropped this new banger featuring their connect down in Brazil, Cauan Madona, throwing down on cement parks and trails! Cauan throws down a bunch of heavy moves with a ton of style. Everything from the riding to the film work is on point, so hit play and take this one in! It’s a must see for sure!

“The links of a bicycle chain can be interpreted as a metaphor for the friendships and bonds that exist throughout the BMX community. Without those links, nothing moves. Friends are the inertia that drives things to happen in bike culture.

Vans Brazil’s BMX Family member, Cauan Madona, is forever linked to Felipe Corrêa, his longtime friend who is responsible for his first video part and this most recent project.
Over a year, sessions and tricks were recorded in São Paulo, São Bernardo do Campo, Amparo, Serra Negra, Jundiaí, and Rio de Janeiro.

However, they were paused because of the global pandemic and a knee injury.

Friends and family support, along with the birth of Cauan’s daughter, Lizzie, were the impulse to link back up with Felipe and continue to ride on and take BMX culture further.

Without links, the bike won’t move.
Without friends, BMX would be a lonely scene.

Thanos Mihalakidis – Heaklion Edit 2021

March 24, 2021

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=loOJ42BIwi4

It has been a little while since we’ve seen a fresh video come out of Greece, but Thanos Mihalakidis definitely delivered with this new one. We haven’t heard of Thanos prior to this, but it’s clear the guy shreds. Here’s a fresh batch of clips from street sessions where he put his pegs to heavy use, along with sending whips down stair sets and more! This has a super chill vibe, but it’s a real good watch, so get on that play button and get familiar! We’re sure we’ll be seeing more of this guy in the future.

“Thanos Mihalakidis Greek rider from Xanthi 18 years old..Enjoy his first edit on Heraklion/Crete spots!!

Haro – Baseline Frame Promo

March 24, 2021

Do you need a new frame, but money is tight? Haro have released their new Baseline frame that might just be what you need. This frame is designed to be an all around frame, but comes in with a low $199.99 price tag. With Most BMX frames these days going for the upper $300 range these days, this is definitely a more affordable option. No word on the materials used, but we would imagine this is pretty base bones without any heat-treating or special features, but it looks like it can handle the riding Alex Leibrock threw down for this fresh promo. Take a peek!

“Designed for the modern, all-around rider, whether in the streets or at the park, the Baseline frame offers more than enough clearance for even the widest of tires. Watch Alex Leibrock take the Baseline Frame out for the first time at Rancho Penasquitos skatepark and show you what this frame is capable of!

Haro Baseline Frame Details:
20.5″, 20.75″ and 21″ Top Tube Lengths
75° Head Tube Angle
71° Seat Tube Angle
13″ Chain Stay (Slammed)
11.7″ BB Height
8.6″ Stand Over
$199.99 Price
