Well, it looks like it’s that time of the year again. Everyone is flocking to hell, I mean, Las Vegas for Interbike once again, including myself. These people will either be displaying their new products, checking out the new products or becoming too drunk to know what’s going on. This will be my 4th year of covering the event for you guys right here on The Union and I’m trying to prepare my mind for absolute melt down. A few weeks ago I was starting to get the vibe that a lot of brands weren’t going to be doing booths this year ( Odyssey, Volume and Demolition for example) and that the BMX section would be a bit of a ghost town compared to the past few years. But after this week with so many brands dropping sneak peeks at their 2012 products and talking about Interbike, I think my initial concerns have been diminished. Between the new brands like And Forks and brands like Fly announcing a full line of complete bikes, I’m not for seeing a lack of stuff to check out.
So starting tomorrow, check back frequently since I’ll be cruising a few booths, then running back to upload what I came across at each booth, then repeating for three days. I’ll try not to disappoint.
I’ll make a note of it in each post, if I don’t get you the information you were looking for or a good shot of something you wanted to see. Leave a comment and I’ll make sure to get an answer or a better photo for you. Also, feel free to leave some comments in here with what you would like to see as well from the show.
Well, some how Fly Bikes have kept it pretty top secret (well, to my knowledge) that they were introducing complete bikes to their line. The above video gives you all the information you need about them along with some detailed shots to see exactly how rad these turned out. I’m definitely a fan. That and the new seat design interests me. I’ll make sure to find out more about that at Interbike this week.

Hoffman Bikes just dropped their new website that’s loaded up with their 2012 product and a new look. Check it out at HoffmanBikes.com.
“During this summer 2011 i got the chance to travel around the world just in order to ride my bike. I spent my frist week with Kayley Ashworth in Liverpool and Scotland, then One week with my brother Mike King near to London.
And i left straight to Santa Ana California to visit my buddy Ben Snowden before to spend one amazing month in his house where i met the crazy Big Daddy and his ridiculous car 🙂
Thanks to Ben i rode all the best skateparks of California and i met a bunch of awesome peoples. I spent my time to film some videos but i also decided to make a video about my trip with some stupid tricks in all these different skatepark.
Even if i rode with the best riders of the world i kept my state of mind and my style of riding. even if i can’t hide that i would like to get the power to do some triple tailwhip 🙂
In this video i tried like in my previous video for Amity, to create some stupid tricks to show that even if you’re in the best skatepark you can find funny stuff to do without tailwhip or barspin everywhere.
Thanks to Kayley Ashworth, Mike King, & Ben Snowden for filming all these clips about me and for bringing me everywhere.
Can’t wait to go back to UK & CA see my friends because I miss them.
Enjoy the first fall 🙂” – JC Pieri

“We are happy to announce that Dan Paley is now riding ‘full factory’ BSD. After riding BSD components for the last year, he recently left his frame sponsor to join the main BSD team. Here’s a taste of things to come, welcome to the team again Dan…
