I’m sure most of you guys out there don’t even think about what your bike parts are coming in before you rip it apart to throw it on your bike. But, The Shadow Conspiracy is one brand that puts some work in on their packaging to make it look real good sitting on the shelves. They recently decided to change things up and use packaging that looks like coffins to go with the image of the brand. You can check out some more about this by hitting the Shadow site. Next time you are at the shop or get a box of goodies in the mail, take a look at the packaging before you rip it apart. Somebody put time into it.

Brian Tunney is one of those guys who I think is a real good model to follow when it comes to working in the media side of the industry. Brian has had all sorts of jobs from being a pro rider, contributor to magazines, judging contests, and even some time as a team manager. These days he’s full-timing it at ESPN handling their action sports content. I figured it would be cool to find out a little bit more about his line of work and get a little background on how he got to where he is today.
