You’re probably wondering what is a Sunday Bonus bike? Well, it is basically short runs of very unique bikes that are in addition to the current bike line. The bonuses can be team rider models, artist collaborations, charity benefit bikes or whatever creative idea pops into our heads during the year. Every year for the last three years, I’ve made my way up to Bloomington, Minnesota for the annual Frostbike, which is like a miniture Interbike for brands that Quality Bicycle Products carries. When I was there I started thinking about how much goes into an operation like this distributor that handles shops all across the U.S on the daily, I realized there were a lot of questions that could be asked. I figured it would be pretty cool to find out more about the company by talking with two guys I’ve known for a while now through riding, Jay Schlie and Glenn Dussl. Jay and Glenn have been a big part of the BMX scene in Minnesota for years, and it just so happens that they both handle a good portion of the BMX department at QBP.
