It’s pretty amazing seeing how doing something as simple as throwing on some front brakes can mix things up for a rider as far as tricks go. Colony‘s connect Paterico Fallico recently tossed some front brakes on his setup, and it looks like he had no trouble putting them to good use. Here’s some clips he stacked on Clint Millar‘s backyard mini ramp. If you’re looking for some technical ramp riding and some front brake magic, Paterico delivers.

This is a crazy titanium BMX bike! Over the years we’ve seen thousands of BMX bikes and every now and then we’ll get one that really stands out, and Brooklyn‘s current setup is definitely a perfect example of unique. BK has been on a bit of a mission to build the lightest bike possible with it still being rideable. Here’s a look at his very expensive and very dialed setup that starts out with a Titanium Frame By Laird Frame, along with a bunch of titanium parts like a fork, spokes, bolts and more that leads to one super light bike. Want to learn how to install BMX brakes? Brant Moore has done a handful of different videos explaining different tricks and techniques for dialing in BMX brakes, but he has never done a video showing how to install BMX brakes from start to finish. Today, he decided it was time to do one of these videos for those of you out there that are interested in trying the stoppers out or having issues putting brakes on your bike after some time away in the brakeless life. Hit play, take it all in, dial your brakes in and then go do a bunch of fufanus and abubacas! This is a good look at how to get this done.

The new Dyno Pro Compe has been beefed up from the original with a 100% chromoly frame and fork, and the wheels have been super-sized to 29” with GT’s all-new Smoothie tires in a stout 29 x 2.5.
“No more ‘butter forks’,” says Dave. “That’s what I used to call them. They were like butter; they’d flex all over the place, and we would have to straighten them out. When it came to the wheels, it was important to add bigger tires because it’s like adding suspension. And, as you get older, you want to have a little bit of cush as you’re landing.”

Dave Voelker knows a thing or two about BMX. He made his debut on the scene in the early 1980s as part of Brian Scura’s BMX Air Show. His fast and loose style along with massive airs quickly caught the attention of the entire BMX world. From 1987 to 2009, Dave Voelker was the leader of the GT/Dyno family. He toured the world with the GT Team, performing for thousands of fans and wowing crowds with tricks like his signature “Voelker Flyout,” shooting straight up the quarter pipe and flailing around like was going to crash, only to land safely on his feet on top of the deck. He continued to lead through the end of his career placing within the top five at several X-Games events.
Dave has inspired an entire generation of riders with his adrenaline-charged style, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible on a BMX bike.
