Haruki Yonamine – Sponsor Me

It’s always cool checking out a video from a younger rider we haven’t heard about. Haruki Yonamine is a 15 year old from over in Japan that put together this “sponsor me” video giving us a look at what he’s all about. If we didn’t already know this video was filmed this year in Japan, we would almost have to assume this was a early 2000’s video from the streets of New York City. This has that same mid-school NY street vibe that we’re sure a bunch of riders will be into. Grinds, jibs and more. Take a look!

Transforming a School Into A BMX Park – Moto Bunka

The Moto Bunka crew coming through with an interesting video showing how Yuta Tominagas has been working on turning an old school into a shop and BMX park for the riders to enjoy! This starts out as a podcast, but then switches over to a video tour. It’s all in Japanese, but the sub-titles are in English so it’s easy to follow along with. This looks awesome and we’re stoked on this! It looks like this should be awesome for the scene over there as well.

This also reminded us of Taj Mihelich‘s old Odyssey “Electronical” video part where he took an old abandoned school and built ramps to create a ton of unique setups to ride! We’ve re-embedded that below to enjoy again as well!

“Motobunka Report-ep8: Transforming a school into a BMX Park. On the road to Yuta Tominagas dream.

Moto Bunka “Cross Over” Trailer

The Moto Bunka crew over in Japan have been logging some serious miles and stacking a ton of footage for their new “Cross Over” DVD that’s in the works! Here’s the first trailer for the video that covers a ton of ground and appears to feature a whole bunch of riders. The full video isn’t due out until 2020, but damn does it look like it’s coming together quite nicely!

“MOTO-BUNKA Presents.
Full length DVD ”CROSS OVER”
We’re launching the Opening Trailer of the DVD and the official website.

The concept of the DVD is a BMX connection with the world through Japan.
Initially, shooting began in 2016 with our thoughts to “Transmit Japanese riders who bring originality to the world”. Riders who have the same value on originality as us are joining this project now from also out of Japan.
Asia, USA, and Europe.

Over time, over the generations and over the national borders, BMX riders from all over the world are starting to cross over centered on Japan.

*Click the DV tape with the national flag pattern on the map of the official website to check the riders for each country.
