Here’s a little promo video fro the Portsmouth Street Games that’s going down in a little over a week featuring Flat Matters‘ own, Effraim Catlow, throwing down a few flatland moves and telling us what’s going on! If you are in the area, this should be a good time, so hit it up!
“The Portsmouth Guildhall Square and surrounding area is set to open as an outdoor festival venue with its first showcase being the Portsmouth Street Games on 31st May and 1st June, organised by the Portsmouth Cultural Trust and Big Adventures.
The event will feature a range of local acts of national and international repute such as free runner Mitch Lee, one of the UK’s leading Mountain Bike display riders, Chris Doney, and Effraim Catlow, BMX flatlander king from Southsea Skate Park. Visitors can also look forward to a programme of street dance and live music as well as a street style arts & crafts market with a variety of food offers and family activities.
A life size New York subway train replica will act as a graffiti canvas for the street art element of the Games, curated by local and internationally known artists My Dog Sighs and Lex Luther.”
