Product: BSD – Dan Paley Signature Soulja Frame

Yesterday, BSD released a preview of a few of their new items they are showing off at Interbike this week — BSD – Interbike 2015 Preview. One of the items that they had in that preview was the new Dan Paley signature Soulja frame that will be available sometime in November or early December. Today they released most of the specs and details for you guys to check out, so let’s talk about the frame a bit and get a closer look!

The Soulja frame starts out with full 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75.2-degree head tube angle, 8.8” standover height, and a 12.8″ – 13.2″ chain stay length. We’re not sure on the seat tube angle or bottom bracket height, but we would assume a 71-degree seat tube angle and 11.7″ bottom bracket height since that’s that that ALVX and WZA frame offer. The rest of the frame features an engraved head tube, gussets on the top and down tubes, a MID bottom bracket, integrated seat post clamp, a wild rear end to fit 2.40″ tires (even when you slam the wheel at that short 12.8″ chain stay length), removable brake mounts and 7mm thick Investment Cast drop outs. The Soulja from will be available with top tube lengths of 20.6″, 20.9″ and 21.2″, colors of matte black, matte grey and Surplus green and a weight of 5 lbs. even.

The head tube is engraved with a BSD logo that looks damn good.

7mm thick Investment Cast drop outs with plenty of peg and hub guard clearance.

That rear end is short with its 12.8″ – 13.2″ chain stay length.

Color options of matte grey, matte black and Surplus green.
