We caught wind of this one a little while back when Cult‘s product designer, Neal Wood, posted up a photo of a drawing he did for the frame on Instagram. Now, the TRF or Trail Race Frame is available, so we figured it would be a good time to give you guys the details on it.
The TRF frame is made from 100% Cult Classic 4130 chromoly tubing with a 74.5-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.65″ bottom bracket height, 8.75″ stand over height and a 13.85″ chain stay length. You can find features like top and down tube gussets, an externally machined MID bottom bracket, Investment cast seat post clamp, Investment cast seat stay bridge, tapered seat stays, S-Bend chain stays for 2.40″ tire clearance, 5mm thick heat-treated 14mm drop outs and removable brake mounts. The TRF frame comes in top tube lengths of 20″, 20.5″, 20.75″, 21″ and 21.25″ with black for the color.
This frame is available through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Cult worldwide now for around $329.99.
… It’s about time the Trail Boss made a dirt frame, haha.
