Product: Reeb Cycles – Zak Early “ReeBMX” Frame – $800

When we posted up The Most Expensive Custom BMX Bike? post earlier today, we got quite a few people stirring about more expensive parts or ways to make a bike more expensive. Then, Jon over at Can You Dig It pointed out that Zak Earley has a signature frame through a company called Reeb Cycles that is priced at… wait for it… $800. We had to get a look at it, but unfortunately there wasn’t much for photos other than Zak’s personal bike. But, there were full specs and details.

The ReeBMX frame is made from Tru Temper OX Platinum tubing (the same stuff Standard Bykes uses) with a 75-degree head tube angle, 69-degree seat tube angle, 11.6″ bottom bracket height, 10″ standover height and a 13.6″ chain stay length. You can find an integrated head tube, gussets on the top and down tubes, a MID bottom bracket and welded seat stay brake mounts. It’s available in colors of white, silver, black, green, blue and red with a weight of less than 5 lbs. (doesn’t say an exact number).

We’re not quite sure if any have sold, but we can imagine those margins for a $800 frame are pretty healthy considering a Standard frame with the same tubing and features goes for around $400. The only frame that comes to mind that is / was more expensive was the Titanium Eastern Grim Reaper frame. You can check out the frame right here.
