May 12, 2012

Just because I’m in Chicago at the Vitamin Invitational, doesn’t mean I’m going to skip out on our usual Saturday post. Going into our fourth volume of Products:, we have a closer look at five products from Hoffman, Profile, Division Brand, Eclat and Deluxe. So let’s get into this!

All right, let’s kick this edition off with a look at Eclat‘s Pulse hub. The 36-hole shell of the hub is made from 6061-T6 alloy with a 14mm hardened heat-treated and hollow bored chromoly axle and 2 high quality Japanese bearings inside. The hub features the SDS system which allows you to switch the direction of the hub to either right or left hand drive and a standard 9-tooth driver with a polymer bushing. The Pulse hub weighs in at 16.19 oz. (1.01 lbs. / 459 g) and comes in black, orange, Midnight teal and high polished for colors.

You can get a closer look at the hub by clicking here. Have your local shop here in the U.S hit up Seattle Bike Supply to get you one ordered up.
