Using the sounds bikes make for an audio track isn’t anything new. Mr. Green made a lot of music with sounds from riding and there have been a few edits we’ve posted in the past that used the technique. We’ll have to dig into the archives to find it, but we did find one from 2012 with Edwin DeLaRosa that is embedded below. However, every time somebody does this, the music that comes from it is always different and leads to a completely unique song or beat that is pretty rad. Red Bull released this video showing how two music producers worked with Kriss Kyle at Unit 23 Skatepark to come up with their own unique sound and beat. Check out what went down and how it all turned out. If you want to hear the two songs that came from this project, hit up the Red Bull Website.
“See the sounds of the skatepark get turned into fresh tracks as Kriss collaborates with two of Glasgow’s most talented producers.
BMX sensation Kriss Kyle joined forces with two of Glasgow’s up and coming producers – Bessa and Big Miz – to capture the sounds of a session at the UK’s largest indoor skatepark – Unit 23. The two producers then used the samples captured from Kriss’ incredible flow of tricks to each create their own exclusive tracks.”
