It has been a little while since we’ve seen anything from the Alone BMX crew, but it looks like they’ve been busy working on a new BMX tire that will be available later this year. It sounds like the tire is an updated version of their existing PATT tire, but it will be more street friendly. Below you can find a little more information direct from Alone. “A little bit of product news today. We have been working on a new tyre due for release this autumn. It’s the successor to our PATT tyre imaginatively titled the PATT 2.
Still high pressure casing (110psi) but with a new smoother rolling tread pattern and wider size 2.40″. Look out for these later this year. Party All The Time.”
