Vans – Matthias Dandois Welcome to the Global BMX Team

Matthias Dandois is officially on the Vans Global BMX team!

Matthias Dandois has been riding for Vans Global BMX Team for just about year now, Matthias was bumped up back in 2017, but he didn’t have a welcome video until now. As many of you who follow Matthias know, he’s constantly traveling and hitting up contests around the globe, so sometimes filming can take a bit. After a year, his official welcome video is finally done and it was well worth the wait! Matthias Dandois decided to pull out the camera while he got in some practice for the annual Flatark flatland contest that’s coming up…

It’s always crazy to think about how much practice, repetition and work goes into being consistent when it comes to flatland. Matthias Dandois is no stranger to riding contests and being prepared to unleash his best riding under pressure and a lot of practice goes into that. Here’s a raw cut of footage from some of the preparation he is putting into getting ready for the massive Flatark contest. It’s crazy to think he was able to run straight through this without breaks. What a machine.

We’ve seen a lot of interesting collaborations in BMX over the years, but this is definitely an interesting one. Red Bull teamed up Terry Adams, Matthias Dandois, Viki Gomez, Benjamin Hudson, and Yohei Uchino with the 2nd Line marching band for some music and demos down the streets of New Orleans!
