ABQ DNV – DIY Day: Devin Burks

The ABQ DNV crew hit us with a link to their latest BMX video featuring Devin Burks getting in some time at a rad DIY spot in Denver! Devin brings some grinds, nose balance, freecoaster action and a couple other tricks for this short but sweet edit. Check it!

“Devin Burks is a youngin that has been cruising with the crew over this past winter and the kid keeps getting better and better. Super smooth style and some cool tricks to boot, Devin is gonna be killing it this summer. Here is a little video He and Elevated Perspective made at our very well used DIY spot out in Denver. ABQ DNV – Slab City

The ABQ DNV crew coming through with a dialed BMX video to kick off 2016! Check out a ton of footage they stacked during their sessions at the Slapcity spot out in Denver, Colorado! This place looks super fun to ride and these guys cooked up some rad clips for this one. Check it!

“Slabcity is a DIY spot in Denver we spent a decent amount of time this past summer, Filming when we saw fit but mostly just a fun spot to mess around at more then anything. You never really know what you will find here, from crazies walking from a to b or just random homies riding. This place my not be here for to much longer from what we have been told but hopefully it makes it another summer for a few more great times.

Slabcity has seen many renditions in our short time up here so it is super cool to see what the guys could put together with the DIY spot. Even more so with the tech masters of Adam Accardi and Tremaine Stewart as they laid the spot to rest, Adams manny lines are outrageous and Treamine is just an all around monster! Hope you enjoy!

ABQ DNV – Ryan Pipkin Video

The ABQ DNV crew just sent through this fresh video from Federal Bikes‘ connect here in the U.S, Ryan Pipkin, going to work on street spots around Albuquerque! This is loaded with some great riding, rad spots and clean film work. Enjoy!

“Ryan has been an ABQ killer for sometime now. This video showcases his skills around town while paying to homage to some old ABQ spots and past killers. He has a hook up with Federal and Stacked BMX as well so we hope for nothing but good things from this. Here are some words from one of his Filmers/Friends in ABQ.

“Ryan is a very motivated influential rider out in abq he pushes himself to learn new tricks everyday I recall how he used to tell me when he first started off everyone said he’d never get any where while riding a bike, the type of person Ryan is this motivated him to prove everyone wrong and has done so. He never has expectations for what happens he just goes and has fun. This video is just the beginning and a little teaser for what Ryan really has in him keep an eye out for his future videos for he is bound to blow your mind. This video was very fun to go film almost every day and to just continue to see how Ryan progresses. Hope everyone enjoys this as much as we enjoyed filming it!” – Hunter Lodwick

‘We started getting clips for Ryan’s video back before everyone broke their New Years resolutions. However, spring in Albuquerque is windy, and unpredictable. I think it even snowed once in May if I remember correctly. But the sun came out, we were back at it. Since Ryan is the type of the riders that can get something done at any spot. We kinda just had to pedal around, the clips gradually filled the SD card, and the completed video happen naturally. Ryan has a come a long way since I met him at my local park wearing red pants, and a purple shirt that happen to match his terrible purple paint job on his red line with bent forks. I feel like the kid gets better every day and I’m exited to see where he goes from here.” – Matt Gutierrez

The tech moves he does with ease are something few wish they could do, much less within in few tries to one and done. Adam Accardi is become a force and a name we believe that will become very familiar to most, hell he just did oppo tooth over smith on this rail! ABQ DNV – Nate Richter: Stuck In Denver

Nate Richter is one of those guys who we feel flies somewhat under the radar as far as riding goes. Although he spends quite a bit of time behind a lens these days, he’s still out there shredding the streets and stacking some heavy clips. ABQ DNV just released this BMX video that is more than enough proof! Take a look!

“Nate Richter Footy is kinda hard to come by, no matter what the situation is. I have been friends with Nate for well over a decade now and getting to watch him ride throughout the years has been amazing. From going over ten feet high out of a 8 foot hip at Los Altos to charging ditch wall rides as well as hitting amazing inverts on some backyard jumps Nate has always been a treat to watch ride. So a large part of our crew moved out to Denver CO not to long ago and Nate wanted to come along work and ride. We started on this project with a full video part in mind but weather not permitting for a couple months and Nate getting hurt seemed to be the norm. By the end of his stay here we came up with this video of him throwing down with some tech moves and an eye for odd ball spots. Nate is super good at making unrideable spots look amazing and getting it done with a bit of his own Nate style. Check it out hope you all enjoy.

ABQ DNV sent through their latest I Got $5 on it featuring Adam Accardi putting a ledge spot to good use with plenty of grinds, freecoaster action and nose balance. It looks like Adam is up to ~~$10~~ $9 now!

“We have been in the process of making a lot of changed over here at ABQDNV but one thing we have been meaning to bring back is our “I Got 5 On It’ Series. So here we come with Round 2 with some of your favorite riders that have already happened as well as a bunch of new faces that you have not seen on here yet.

DNV ABQ – Eat The Streets 2015 – Albuqueque

Last weekend was the 2nd ABQ DNV “Eat the Streets” jam of the year. This time around they hit the streets of Albuquerque, New Mexico for a day PACKED with spots, riders and amazing riding! Hit play on this BMX video to see everything that went down throughout the day from BMX and skateboarding!

“The second stop of ABQ DNV’s Eat The Streets 2015 jam series went down in Albuquerque, New Mexico. With the success of the recent ETS Denver Jam we were excited to see what New Mexico would have in store. The level of riding exceeded our expectations, and even more important that was seeing that all involved had an amazing afternoon on their bikes!

“Albuquerque Eat The Streets has come and gone with so many great memories made with old friends and new ones. We knew this stop in Albuquerque was going to be a serious one just based off our large following in ABQ as well as all our past events here. We have been doing events in ABQ for over a decade and have been pushing our local scene in all ways possible.

One of the most amazing things about this stop was the younger following that came to watch and participate in Eat The Streets. To see these kids out riding bikes and being beyond excited to watch and see whats moves the guys would do on all the different setups was amazing! This is why we do what we do, we throw these jams to showcase how fun BMX is for all ages and that everyone can participate with all levels of riding. For our love of BMX brings us together.

The level of riding on this ETS was a bit gnarly but ABQ never disappoints. The sessions at all the spots had tons of people but it turned into a heavy sessions with a few of our ABQDNV boys with the crowds going off for them. Hope you enjoy watching this video as much as we did making it. Thank you for all your support and following us in what we do, If it was not for the BMX community we would not be able to put on these events.
