Cory Wiergowski has been putting in some serious time in the streets for “The Michigan Video” DVD, but that doesn’t mean he can’t still make it to the park every now and then. Some would expect that he’d use it as a chill escape from hammering out bangers, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. If you like tech grind combos, Cory is your man.

About 3 years ago, I (Brett Rohlfing) shot an edit of Zack Gerber in Florida for Albes. Since then, it’s been ripped to multiple Youtube channels and re-edited with other music, or rearranging the clip order. Not long ago I received a tweet from a guy asking if he could use the clips from the video in an edit he wanted to make. Since he was cool enough to ask, I said sure. Here’s the result, which I think is pretty cool. The effect on the last clip is my favorite.
Albe’s – Eastpoint Extreme Team
There are so many reasons I’m stoked on this new edit that Albe’s dropped. One would be that this is the second edit with AC/DC in it this week, two is that these guys all kill it at a bunch of parks, street spots and trails spots and three is that the vibe of this doesn’t have one of those “this is what I can do, sponsor me” vibes that a lot of edits have these days. Everything about this is awesome and I highly advise you check it out!
“Albe’s locals Jamie Chalmers, Craig Huneke and Allen Schmalz all started riding BMX at the same time many many years ago. Being from the Detroit suburb of Eastpoint they were Jokingly dubbed the “Eastpoint Extreme Team” for years. They don’t worry about comps, learning the newest tricks or much of anything for that matter. They do however have a good time riding their bikes. With that being said you’ll see they are pretty damn skilled though.“

Shadow team riders Caleb Quanbeck, Lahsaan Kobza, and Johnny Devlin paid a visit to the legendary Albe’s bike shop and rode with the locals. Looks like both the pros and the kids killed it and there was pizza, which makes everything better!
Shadow Conspiracy X QBMX – 2013 KIL Tour: Michigan
