BSD – Folding Donnastreet Tires

Alex Donnachie’s new signature tire just got a little lighter!

Are you on the hunt for some fresh folding BMX Tires? The crew at BSD have just released Alex Donnachie‘s signature Donnastreet Tire in a new Kevlar bead folding version. The tire features the same tread pattern as the existing Donnastreet tire with the extra grippy, low rolling resistance rubber compound and a tear resistant silkworm casing, BSD have just replaced the wire bead with a Kevlar bead. Doing this has made the tire lighter with a weight of 22.50 oz. for the 2.30″ size and 23.63 oz. for the 2.40″ version.

The Donnastreet Folding Tire is available in black only, sizes of 2.30″ and 2.40″ and can be picked up through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry BSD worldwide starting now. If you’re not a fan of the folding Kevlar bead, you can still pick the tire up in the Wire Bead Donnastreet Tire!

Source BMX – Battle of Hastings Plaza Session

Leading up to the Battle of Hastings this year, Source BMX had Brian Kachinsky redesign their Plaza section for all the pro riders to enjoy! Here’s two videos for you to check out. The first one shows you all the pros like Garrett Reynolds, Alex Donnachie, Chad Kerley, Corey Martinez, Nathan Williams, Dan Lacey, Aaron Ross and more going to work on the new setup. The second video features Brian Kachinsky talking about what went into the design and how he made it all happen being across the pond in the U.S while the plaza is in Hastings, England!

BSD In The Streets of NorCal

The BSD team decided it was time to spend some time exploring the streets of San Francisco and San Jose in Northern California. Here’s a super dialed video featuring the crew going to work on all of the amazing spots they came across from rails and ledges to huge curved wallrides and more. Par BMX – Rainy Day with the BSD Crew

Some of the BSD crew are over in Latvia cruising with the Par BMX. They caught a bit of rain so they headed indoors for a session at the local skatepark. Here’s a batch of clips they stacked while they were riding! Plenty of real solid riding to see in this one. Enjoy!

BSD – Special Edition Digital Camo ALVX Frame

The ALVX frame from BSD has a new color for you to check out…

BSD have just released details on the latest colorway for the Alex Donnachie signature ALVX Frame! Here’s a look at the Special Edition Digital Camo ALVX frame that’ll be hitting BMX shops and mail-orders that carry BSD worldwide. This frame has a custom digital camouflage wrap that covers the entire frame, giving it a unique look that is bound to turn some heads. The ALVX frame is made from seamless Sanko Japanese 4130 chromoly tubing with 75.5-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.7″ bottom bracket height, 8.70″ standover height and a 12.5″ – 13″ chainstay length. You can find an integrated head tube with top and down tube gussets, an integrated seat post clamp, Mid bottom bracket, curved seat and chain stay bridges and an extra wide rear end to fit 2.4″ tires and integrated chain tensioners on the 7mm thick Investment Cast dropouts. This frame does NOT come with brake mounts, so this frame is only for brakeless riders.

The Digital Camo ALVX frame from BSD comes in 20.3″, 20.6″, 20.8″ and 21″ top tube lengths with a weight of 5 lbs. You can pick this BMX frame up through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry BSD worldwide starting around August 15th!

BSD – New Donnastreet Tire Colors

The Donnastreet tires are now available in a few new color options!

BSD have just released the Alex Donnachie signature Donnastreet Tire in two new colors; Surplus Green and Sand, to go along with the original Black color option.

The Donnastreet tire is based off the original Donnasqueek tire utilizing the same rubber and similar tread pattern, just a smoother center for reduced rolling resistance. The rubber is extra grippy and super squeaky and has a tear resistant Silkworm casing on the inside. The tire is rated for up to 110 PSI and comes in 2.30″ and 2.40″ sizes.

Battle of Hastings 2017 – Team Kriss Kyle

Here’s some news on the Source BMX “Battle of Hastings” 2017 teams for you! It has just been announced that Kriss Kyle has picked Alex Donnachie, Dan Paley and Jordan Godwin to be apart of his team! This team is pretty heavy on the street side, but each of these guys can hold their own on the ramps as well. It will be interesting to see how this pans out for the contest!
