Did you know Alex Raban was getting a set of signature bars from Volume? I didn’t… But they dropped today! The Iron Chachi bars are made from 13-butted heat-treated 4130 chromoly and feature a rise of 8.3″, width of 29″, 12-degrees of backsweep, 2-degrees of upsweep, a crossbar height of 6.2″ and a crossbar width of 10.4″. These bars feature thicker butting on all of the stress points to increase the overall strength throughout. The Iron Chachi bars weigh in at 29.4 oz. and come in chrome and flat black. You can find out more about these bars right here.
Annnnnnd it’s Sunday again. It’s a bummer when the weekend is coming to an end, but there is a positive to all of this; a recap of all of the best BMX videos from the past week. This week there was one hell of a constant stream of goodness in the Daily Section. After digging through all the posts, I was able to narrow it down to 22 of the BEST videos for you guys to go back and enjoy your favorites again or check out the ones you might have missed. We’ve got videos featuring the likes of Connor Lodes, Waldemar Fatkin, Mitchell McDonald, Morgan Wade, Tony Neyer, Jackson Allen, Brian Kachinsky, Bob Manchester, Jack Kelly, Sergio Layos, Rob Wise, Chad Kerley, Paul Barnum, Alex Magallan, Kevin Porter, Jeff Kocsis, Alex Raban and many, many more for you to check out… So let’s do this!
If you don’t know that Alex Raban kills it by now, you’re completely blowing it! Check out his section from The Daily Grind DVD for a good time. Grind Wizard.
“The Daily Grind DVD was released 6 months ago, we want to make sure everyone has a chance to see it. Alex is a killer as you all know from his latest Volume edits, he filmed most of this part in 6 days, AMAZING! Last week was Scott Steele’s part and Tony Cherry the week before that, which are still available @ thedailygrindbmx.com. Next week is Gremlin’s part.“
Always good to see some fresh footage from Cult connect, Kyle Walker. I’ve watched this dude progress so much over the years and it doesn’t look like he has slowed down one bit. Check this out because it’s loaded with heat.
“Well if your friends with Kyle you know his character. Wild, loud, excited, laughter, crazy always with a story or discovery that he can’t help but share. He would point out set ups where I would not know what to think. Is he serious? But one thing is for sure he is quite the individual. Whether it is drifting a 240 or caveman bombing off roofs. Too me there’s a little something that drives us, to keep us going and to keep us sane, Kyle is doing just that.
