Ah man, this is a bummer. Alienation‘s Vince Smith was recently diagnosed with cancer. No word on how serious it is or what kid, but his friend Frankie Lang put together this edit featuring footage of Vince that he had stacked up to help keep him stoked. Quicky: Tony Malouf
There’s no doubt that Tony Malouf is one of those guys who is always on the move. Some how even getting hit by a car doesn’t slow him down. I figured between doing hood slides, all of the trips, his signature frame that’s due out this week, all of the edits he has been pushing out lately and everything that it would be a good time to catch up with the dude and find out what’s going on in his life. Check out what he had to say!

Kyle Bennett – From Alienation, with Respect
BMX truely lost an amazing rider and an amazing individual last week. Rest in Peace, Kyle Bennett.
“Alienation BMX would like to honor the life and racing of Kyle Bennett, our team rider and great BMXer. KB will be missed, we loved to watch him ride, we were in awe of his skills and love for the sport. Rest In Peace, brother, you WILL be missed, and we threw in a little ‘country’ for ya, Butter. With Respect!” – Alienation

Tony Malouf on Alienation
It would appear that Tony Malouf is now riding for Alienation. While he’s still healing up from getting hit by a car a few weeks back, they decided to drop this gnarly clip along with the news. Here’s a few words from them about Tony!
“Tony Malouf takes everything that is distinctive about Midwest BMX and combines it to form his unique style. His hard work and attitude yields him the ever sought after street credibility, yet it’s his ramp and bowl riding skills that separates him from another local shredder.
From the Gully Factory to other prominent video documentation, Tony’s skills in front of the camera are only a small part of what he does behind them. His VX and TRV are always pointed at something and his creative editing and music style is a welcomed breath of fresh air in the abundance of web edits. Plus, it’s always good to see someone taking his homies with him on this crazy game of life.
We at Alienation BMX are proud to have Tony as part of our progressive pro team and look forward to everything he brings to the table. Once Tony is back to pedaling expect a slew of new edits. Motivation is a dangerous thing…” – Alienation
