S&M just scooped up Andrew Schubert, and man did they make the right call! I’ve never even heard of this guy, but from this edit I can already he is potential to be a big deal in not too long. Sort of the same feeling I got when Devon Smillie first started getting noticed. He has every trick he does down so perfectly, everything looks simple. Keep an eye out for him, I’m sure he’ll be making some moves now with this new support.
I’m stoked on this new 1664 edit for a couple of reasons. One – It’s good to see Isaac Barnes back on his bike after healing up from wrist surgery. Two – It’s good to see something fresh from the 1664 guys. Three – the location for this is awesome and the riding is even better. Definitely take a look at this one!
“This past Easter long weekend was a perfect chance to kick off spring with a little road trip. Schubert, Darcy, and Isaac headed to the Kootenays with there friends, Sam Jepson, and Aaron Cheng. Good times were had, and they managed to whip up a little mix from the weekend.
Filming: Andrew Schubert, Isaac Barnes

If you’re looking for an edit with a super chill vibe, this is the video you need to check out today. Recently, 1664‘s Andrew Schubert and Darcy Peters made their way from snowy, wet and cold Canadia down to sunny San Diego for some warmth and spots. While they were there, they linked up with Aaron Cheng, Sam Jepson, and Colton Ponto and ended up filming this new video. Definitely one to check out!
This should be rad. Even though it sounds like the trip was rough, each section should turn out real good. Can’t wait for these to drop.
“Last summer we hit the road with some of the team for a week, between the Shake The Lake Bonesaw Jam, and the Rad 25th Anniversary Jam to get some of the team together, and to ride bikes. Everything didn’t exactly go according to plan on our destinations, and what we had initially wanted to do with the footage… Either way it was a great trip, and we look forward to the next one. We are going to be releasing each riders clips from the trip in web edits over the next while, so keep your eyes peeled for new footage from Isaac Barnes, Matt Desson, Jeff Evans, Andrew Schubert, and Jordan Dwan. Here’s the teaser from the trip, more to come soon.” – 1664
“This was shot on a snowy Sunday in December. Nothing ground breaking in this one. Just some friends kickin it, and riding bikes. Riders included are Andrew Schubert, Matthew Walser, Darcy Peters, Sam Jepson(Hurt his hand before the session, thanks for provided the indoor spot), and myself.” – Isaac Barnes
Andrew Schubert is 1664‘s flow rider from Calgary. I’m not all too familiar with him, but Isaac Barnes tells me he’s on it, that is good enough for me to know I should check it out. Definitely take a peek.
“Fresh goods from our Calgary connect Mr. Schubert.. Andrew is always on it having fun, and pushing his riding. Every time I ride with him, or see new goods from him he’s always got something fresh. Andrew makes everything look easy, and effortless.. Enjoy.”
“Andrew has been layin low for a bit due to some injuries.. But has been feeling good the last while and decided to bang out this edit rollin some parks in the Calgary Area.” – 1664
