This is a rad concept. Check out this video Matt Brown put together from the grand opening of the Animal pop-up shop they have in Manhattan, New York for a few months.
“For over a decade, Animal Bikes has existed as a BMX brand that sold to bike shops and mail orders. Aside from sales on the website, they rarely deal direct with customers. But that has all changed in Manhattan, N.Y. Through the end of December, Animal is hosting a pop-up shop inside Dave’s Warehouse in New York City, where all things Animal and Skavenger can be purchased direct. According to owner Dave Ortiz, “I decided to make a small section within my store that I can have different brands like Animal come in and give them the opportunity to have their own store within my store in New York City without having all the overhead.” To celebrate the opening, Animal hosted a launch party last week. The shop will be open until December 31 on 123 Baxter St in NYC. If you’re in town, check it out.” – ESPN BMX
