Dizzy Bat Foot Down

It looks like Big Boy and the crew are finding some creative new games to pass the time until Scotty Cranmer gets back to keep the party going. Any good BMX rider has played foot down and there’s no doubt there’s a bunch of techniques and tricks to make it easier to win. Well, that all goes out the window when you are forced to spend 20 seconds playing dizzy bat before hopping on your bike. Hit play and see what happens.

“It was raining and really cold out this day and we wanted to ride. We all headed over to the skatepark to have a session and I came up with this idea and the boys were willing to give it a go. It was probably some of the most fun that we have had at the skatepark in a while.

“So I got a new frame that is smaller just to test it out. I knew I had to make a bike build and what better than do it with the guy who has the name on the frame. Trey, the boys and, I built up the bike and I knew I had to step up the other bike build. So Boom just watch it.”

Scotty Cranmer – Behind the Scenes Boost Mobile Commercial

Remember a while back when Scotty Cranmer and Big Boy were flown out to California for a commercial? If you follow the channel, there’s a good chance you know what we’re talking about. Well, today that commercial started airing on TV and they were allowed to release their behind the scenes footage from the shoot for everyone to see. Above is the video Scotty and Big Boy made, below you can find the actual commercial that came from all that filming and then below is the spot that Boost did on Scotty which you also see a bit of in Scotty’s video above. Big Boy and I were out in LA for a very special project. I was in the new Boost Mobile commercial #WhereYouAt. It was an awesome experience and I had a great time filming while we were out there. What Would Scotty Do?

Since Scotty Cranmer is still in the hospital, healing up from surgery, getting ready for a move to start rehabilitation to get his life back on track, the crew are stepping up to keep the videos coming until he can take back over. Here’s a look at what Big Boy, Matty Cranmer and the rest of the crew cooked up for clips for their first go. Expect to see a steady flow of footage coming.

Scotty Cranmer Progress Update #1

October 17, 2016

Here’s a new update video Big Boy put together giving us some insight into Scotty Cranmer‘s current injury status. This starts out with a little trip out to the Monster Cup races, which is part of why Scotty, Big Boy and Ronnie Surridge made the trip out to Las Vegas in the first place, followed up with an update on Scotty’s current status and then Big Boy packs up his bike to head back to New Jersey. Below you can also find an update for the day after this was filmed after they did the surgery. Expect plenty more updates in the coming days, but it’s all sounding good!

“UPDATE 10/16/16 POST SURGERY:
“Earlier today as doctors did their rounds they informed us that the brain hemorrhage is healing well on it’s own and will not require surgery. R2R is in the hospital with Scotty’s family and we just got this update as Scotty was transferred from the operating room to recovery. The doctor came out and said everything went well regarding stabilizing his spine. The surgeon clarified the injury and said that he has a C4 INCOMPLETE spinal cord contusion. The surgeon also fused C4 and C5 to add stability to the area of injury. Incomplete meaning that he can work hard and fight to fix the damage, but he’s not just going to wake up okay. “It’s really good news. It’s going to be a battle but Scotty can do it! You guys know how much fight and determination he has. He’s got this.” – Scotty’s wife, Lisa Cranmer

With the help of R2R and the case workers of the hospital applications are going out in the morning to secure a top level rehab facility for his injuries. If all goes well Scotty may be transferred before the end of next week. The comments and support from his friends, family and YouTube Subscribers has been overwhelmingly positive. We have shared your comments with Scotty and his family and the support really does make a difference. R2R is also currently working with Scotty’s insurance company to better understand what they will and will not cover. We know already they will not cover his medical transport to rehabilitation and that can be anywhere from $15k to $45k.

“It was my last day in Vegas, The entire trip I spent the whole time with Scotty at the hospital with his Wife and Father. Even when I couldn’t see him I would just sit outside the hospital. The only time we would leave was to either go get food or head back to the hotel for some sleep. The guys over at monster convinced me to leave for a couple races at the Monster cup to take my mind off the whole situation. It was worth it a very cool experience and Scotty was right saying its on of the coolest events of the year. Scotty has made incredible progress and is going in for surgery tomorrow morning regarding his spine. He is an amazing individual that is incredibly strong and as long as all of us continue to support him, Scotty will make a full recovery. THIS VIDEO IS UPLOADED A DAY LATE BECAUSE OF TRAVELING.”

Scotty Cranmer – Getting Creative On BMX

Scotty Cranmer, Big Boy and Ronnie Surridge are back at it again. This time around they head out to spend some time rolling around an old warehouse to see what they could come up with for clips. This definitely lead to some unique clips. Check it!

“We drove to an abandoned building on the jersey shore and found an awesome spot to ride some street! Big Boy was doing a ninja drop off of a yellow pole and he crashed like 3 times before he pulled it! Ronnie was doing his crazy little flatland routine and did some kind of flat ground triple bearskin thing! I found this really fun setup where we set up a 2×4 on a guardrail and I did one of the hardest manual lines that i have done in a while to tail whip out! We love riding street! Anything that involves riding BMX is a good day to us! ”

Scotty Cranmer – 600K Challenge

Scotty Cranmer has been stacking followers on his Youtube channel like crazy lately. It looks like he has already hit another milestone, which is 600,000 followers and that means it’s time for another challenge. Since the original plan didn’t work out due to Vinny Mannino being injured, Big Boy decided to step up and try a tuck no hander flair for the first time. Here’s a look at what went down!

“OMG What a week! We have officially reached 600,000 Subscribers! We made the announcement during the 550,000 Challenge that Vinny Mannino will be taking on the 600k challenge and attempt the front flip over the spine that he broke his foot on 2 years ago. The very next day Vinny did a tail whip over the pool in the obstacle course challenge and he broke his foot again! So with our back against the wall someone had to step up and take control and the Big Boy decided that he was man enough to do back to back challenges! Big Boydecided that he was ready to try a flair trick variation so he called himself out on a no handed flair! He has never done a flair trick before and he hasn’t done a no hander air either! INSANE! The whole crew was cheering him on and Big Boy took the scariest crash I have ever seen and after a minute on the ground he got back up and decided to keep it going in honor of our subscribers! Seriously an amazing video that show cases the best part about BMX push the boundaries with the support of your best friends! Thank you to all our subscribers we are going to keep up these videos for you all and we are going to keep these challenges coming as long as you all keep watching the videos!”
