Looking for some 4-piece bars? Have you given Simple Bike Co.‘s Jetset 4-piece bars a look yet? These bars are made from 11-butted heat-treated Japanese chromoly tubing with 4 options for sizes; 8.0″ rise and 27.9″ width, 8.5″ rise and 28.27″ width or 9″ rise and 28.64″ width. All 4 sizes come with an 11.5-degree backsweep and 3-degrees of upsweep. The Jetset bars have a small diameter cross bar, come in color options of black, matte white, chrome, Cheer red, matte teal, matte orange and matte grey with a weight of 1.49 lbs (9″)

Here’s a gem we spotted over on The Merged! It looks like Terrible One have decided to do a run of their Classic bars here in the U.S.A through the fine fellas at S&M Bikes! The Classic bars are made from straight gauge 4130 chromoly with an 8.85″ rise, 29.25″ width, 12-degrees of backsweep and 3-degrees of upsweep. It would appear that they are available in chrome only, but we could be wrong on that.
The Classic U.S.A bars are available for $84.95 in the Terrible One Webstore or through Let’s Roast, Pusher BMX, Mauls Bike Shop, Empire BMX, Circuit BMX and Dan’s Comp!
Sunday Bikes just dropped this new promo for Chris Childs’ signature “Jackal” bars that are out now! Watch Chris get violated with food while giving you the run through, then check out a couple wild riding clips for good measure!
The Jackal bars from Sunday Bikes are made from multi-butted, 41-Thermal heat-treated chromoly with a rise of 8.8″, 29″ width, 12-degrees of backsweep and 1-degree of upsweep. The have traditional 7/8″ crossbar tubing, extra thick tubing on the bends for strength and thinner tubing in low stress points for weight savings and a black magic anti-rust coating! They come with a LIFETIME WARRANTY and color options of black and chrome!
We woke up to an interesting photo in the Facebook feed this morning. Ben Ward, GT Bicycles new BMX team manager / product developer / all around good dude, posted up a little sneak peek photo of some bars that he is showing off at the Taipei Bicycle Show this week. The bars are based off their original iconic 4-piece bars that a lot of you older guys know and love! We asked Ben for some details on the specs, but he wasn’t able to give us any specific details just yet as far as specs or a release date goes… Based off the photo it does appear that they will be available in black and chrome and will come with more modern geometry as far as sizing goes. Release date? If they’re showing these off like this… Our guess is within the year.
So, if you could pick the geometry for these; rise, width, backsweep and upsweep, what would your ideal dimensions be for these bad boys? Let us know in the comments!
Is it time for some new bars? Well, Broc Raiford’s signature Captain bars from Volume will be dropping here this month! These full 4130 chromoly bars feature a 9″ or 9.25″ rise, 28.5″ width, 10-degrees of backsweep, 2-degrees of upsweep, a crossbar height of 6.75″ and a crossbar width of 11.3″. They will be available in colors of flat black, black and white splatter and chrome with a weight of 33.5 oz. These look like some dialed BMX bars to us.
