Head over to the Ride BMX website where a handful of pros and ex-pro riders discuss the value of college or working a real job over the “pro life”. It’s pretty crazy to think only a handful of riders really make enough money off riding to really support themselves, so if you’re interested in what these guys have to say about the topic, click here.
Spotted this over on Can You Dig It. Check out this video Chris Bird put together from some of the laps he got in during the jam at Catty Woods on the 4th of July with his helmet cam. These are definitely some of the best trails in the world, so as you can imagine, even if the quality of the video is a little rough, it’s still a wild ride. Take a look!
“The video came out very shaky, but i put a few of my POV runs together from the weekend to show a few of the lines. Lines include: Rollers to 79, Fonzie, Dip Boom, Hook, Drunk and West Side. Enjoy!

Here’s some cement park cruising in Wine Country for you to enjoy. If you’re looking for whips and bars, this one isn’t for you!
“We met up in the AM at the Potreo park to get in a early morning session. Jake Honesto was in town so we decided to make a day of it and packed Jeff Twin’s TMNT van full of cameras, bikes, and party essentials. We headed North to Wine Country in hopes of finding new spots and riding a few parks. Our first stop was St. Helena where we were harassed by the grounds keeper as soon as we pulled up. Jake managed to get a few good carves before the vibe got too weird. After out horrible decision on lunch we ventured out to ride a hidden dam and bomb some back country hills on our way to our final destination, Santa Rosa.” – Terry Barentsen
Eclat have been killing it with these one clip videos on their Youtube Page! Here’s a quick one of Darryl Tocco doing a feeble to manual to barspin to switch switch barspin line. I seriously drool over Darryl’s bars… If only I could do them like that! Check it!
